CHIPS OF KNOWLEDGE SILK SCARF
Chips of Knowledge is a unique illustrated silk scarf, inspired by bold, gaudy 80’s patterns. The eye of providence symbol is portrayed as a clichéd icon, repeated to the point of losing its meaning. Also, perhaps tortilla chips know something we don’t. The scarf is printed on pure habotai silk with hand-rolled hems. It’s designed to show off the illustrations whatever it’s worn. Each scarf is inspected and packed by the artist before shipping.
BerriBlue is an artist & designer based in Porto, Portugal. She is well known for her paintings, and as a street artist. BerriBlue’s line of silk scarves was born from the concept of presenting street art in a luxury setting. Each scarf features unique illustrations based on her work and is designed to be a wearable artwork. Rather than being a flat, square image, the image look the best when worn, and folding them in different ways can show off different aspects of the illustrations, or give the scarves an entirely different character.
