SYNTHETIC SILK SCARF
Synthetic is a unique limited edition illustrated silk scarf, inspired by all of the artificial things people use in the pursuit of happiness and gratification. Only 15 have been produced, and they are available for sale exclusively online. The scarf is printed on pure habotai silk with hand-rolled hems. It’s designed to show off the illustrations whatever it’s worn. Each scarf is inspected and packed by the artist before shipping.
DESIGNER STORY
BerriBlue is an artist & designer based in Porto, Portugal. She is well known for her paintings, and as a street artist. BerriBlue’s line of silk scarves was born from the concept of presenting street art in a luxury setting. Each scarf features unique illustrations based on her work and is designed to be a wearable artwork. Rather than being a flat, square image, the image look the best when worn, and folding them in different ways can show off different aspects of the illustrations, or give the scarves an entirely different character.
