The Alessandra Rich FW26 Edit: Six Pieces Worth Buying
Alessandra Rich’s Fall Winter 2026 collection does what the house always does, which is the reason to buy it. Polka-dot silk, tweed bouclé, crystal buttons, a waist cut high and tight. What has moved this season is the colour and the length.
The dots are darker
The signature print arrives mostly on black this season, with fine ivory dots that read as a solid dark dress from across a room. That makes it the easiest version to wear. It behaves like a black dress and rewards a second look.
Alongside it sit the lighter grounds: cream with bordeaux, pale blue with a deeper blue, bordeaux with white. Those are the harder, better pieces. They need a bare shoe and nothing else competing.
Tweed is doing the daytime work
The tweed bouclé is the most underrated part of this collection. Jackets and matching skirts in melange black and white, check in green and beige, sequin-shot bouclé in pale yellow. Finished with the crystal and gold-tone buttons the house uses everywhere.
Bought as a set these read as a suit. Split up they work harder. The jacket over a slip dress, the skirt with a fine knit.
Lace and sequin for the evening pieces
The long dresses this season lean on Chantilly lace and sequin embroidery rather than print. Halternecks, high necks, slip cuts that fall to the floor. These are the black-tie pieces and they are priced accordingly.
Six pieces worth the money
- The black-ground polka dot midi. The most wearable thing in the collection and the one that will still look right in five years.
- The tweed bouclé jacket. Buy it if you want one piece that signals the house in daylight.
- The floral-print silk taffeta dress. Taffeta gives it body that crêpe de chine does not.
- The Chantilly lace evening dress. For black tie, and cut close, so size with the waist in mind.
- The merino lace-knit skirt. The quiet piece. Works with everything and costs the least.
- The tartan-print silk separates. Blouse and midi skirt in red and green, sold separately, better together.
What to know before ordering
The collection is made in Italy and cut to Italian sizing. Coveti converts every size to the UK ladder on the product page, so an IT 40 shows as a UK 8 and you can order your usual UK size. The cut runs true with a close line through the waist.
Most of the silk is crêpe de chine and taffeta, and almost all of it is dry clean only. Linings are frequently silk, which is why the dresses hang the way they do and part of what you are paying for.
