Editor’s Guide: How to Wear The Frankie Shop
The oversized blazer
The Bea blazer is the piece that made the label’s name. It is cut with an oversized fit, a boxy body and peak lapels, so let the shoulders sit wide and keep everything under it slim: a fine knit, a straight jean and a flat shoe. Our Bea blazer guide covers fit and colours, and how to wear an oversized blazer has the outfit formulas.
The suit
Wear the blazer with its matching trouser for a full suit. The pleated Gelso trouser and the Bea suit pant are both cut loose through the leg, so they balance a wide shoulder. See Frankie Shop trousers and jeans.
Coats and trenches
The label’s outerwear runs long. The Gaia, Jane, Melva and Leroy coats and the Mavis trench all sit well below the hip, so they work over tailoring and over denim alike. Compare them in our guides to Frankie Shop coats and Frankie Shop trench coats.
Accessories
New this season on Coveti are the label’s first accessories: Italian leather belts, faux leather pouches with crossbody straps, handmade leather macrame bags, silk ties and scarves. Browse Frankie Shop accessories and the Fall 2026 edit.
Frankie Shop Sizing
The Frankie Shop sizes in letters, XXS to XL, with XXL on some styles and paired sizes such as XS/S and M/L on others. Many pieces are labelled oversized fit, so the volume is part of the design. The brand’s chart converts as follows:
| Frankie Shop | US | UK | EU |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 2 | 6 | 34 |
| S | 4 | 8 | 36 |
| M | 6 | 10 | 38 |
| L | 8 | 12 | 40 |
| XL | 10 | 14 | 42 |
For the Bea blazer, the brand’s model is 179cm (5 ft 10) and wears a size S. Check the size guide on each product page, and read our full Frankie Shop size guide before ordering.
About the Label
Gaelle Drevet is French, from Lyon, and worked as a producer and journalist at ABC News before moving into retail. In 2006 she co-founded the Lower East Side boutique Pixie Market, and that space later became Frankie. Press dates The Frankie Shop to 2014, while the brand says its Lower East Side doors opened in 2015. It started as a multi-brand store, grew its own label around the oversized blazer, the tailored trouser and the oxford shirt, opened in Paris in 2018 and launched menswear and unisex lines in 2022.
