The Coveti editor’s guide to Oroton
Oroton clothing is built around the working week. The shirts are cut generous through the body in cotton poplin and silk, the trousers sit high on the waist with a barrel leg and a flat front, and the dresses are shirt dresses, sheaths and belted zip-through styles that go from an office to dinner without a change. The palette is Antique White, Soft Cream, North Sea navy, black and a few strong seasonal colours such as Poppy red and Neptune Green.
Start with a shirt
The poplin shirts are the entry point. The Jet Pocket Shirt and the Sculptured Shirt are the ones to wear open over a tank with the barrel leg trousers, and the silk long sleeve shirts are the same shape in a softer cloth for evening. Build the tailoring
Oroton’s trousers are the quiet strength of the range: the Tailored Barrel Leg Trousers in black, the Double Pleat Pant in Praline and the Zip Detail Pant in cotton drill. Oroton sizing
Oroton labels its clothing in Australian sizes, which read the same as UK sizes. Knitwear and tees use letters. The brand publishes garment measurements in centimetres for every size on every style, and we reproduce them on each product page and in the Oroton size guide.
