Mach & Mach Mules and Sandals: Every Style and Heel Height
Mach & Mach mules and sandals cover every evening height from 65 to 100 mm, from the Diamond of Elizabeth Ring Toe Leather Mules in Gold to the strappy Double Bow Leather Sandals in Black. Mules are the easy, backless choice for dinners and parties; sandals with an ankle strap are the secure choice for weddings and dancing. This guide walks through every heeled mule and sandal in Coveti’s launch of the Georgian house, line by line, with heel heights and styling notes.
Heeled mules and sandals: which one do you need?
Heeled mules are one of the most searched shoe shapes, and for good reason: there is no buckle to fasten, nothing to rub at the back of the heel and they look relaxed with almost anything. The trade-off is grip. A mule relies on the vamp to hold the foot, so it suits evenings where you will sit, stand and walk short distances.
A sandal with an ankle strap holds the heel in place, which makes it the better shoe for long receptions, dance floors and uneven ground. Ankle strap heels also suit narrow feet, which can slip out of a mule. Many people end up owning one of each. Mach & Mach, founded in Tbilisi in 2012 by sisters Nina and Gvantsa Macharashvili and known for crystal-embellished heels, makes both in most of its lines. Sizes run EU 35 to 42 with half sizes on most styles; our Mach & Mach size guide explains fit by style.
Crystal heeled mules: Crystal Flame, Diamond of Elizabeth and Crystal Button
These are the brand’s most decorative mules. The Diamond of Elizabeth mule in the opening paragraph is calf leather with an open toe on a 95 mm heel, built around an oversized crystal ring at the toe; it also comes in silver.
- Crystal Flame Red Round Toe Mules: sculpted PVC studded with crystals, a round toe and a 95 mm heel.
- Crystal Button PVC Mules 85mm in Silver: open-toe PVC with a smooth edge and an adjustable ankle strap, which makes it more secure than most mules.

Pearl, tulle and heart mules: Sirene, Galaxy and Puffy Heart
Not every Mach & Mach mule relies on crystals alone. Sirene is the pearl line, with pearls stitched on by hand:
- Sirene Satin Mules in Black: satin with an open toe on a 95 mm heel.
- Sirene Leather Mules in White: the same shape in white leather, a strong bridal choice.
Galaxy is the sheer line. The Galaxy Tulle Mules in Nude are net and tulle with an open round toe, a crystal accessory and an 85 mm heel. Nude tulle almost disappears against the skin, so it lengthens the leg under a dress.
Puffy Heart brings a more playful note:
- Puffy Heart Ring Square Toe Mules in White: leather, a square toe, crystal embellishments and a 95 mm heel.
- Puffy Heart Ring Square Toe Mules in Light Brown: suede, the autumn version.
- Puffy Heart Patent Mules in Black: an open toe in patent leather on an 85 mm heel, with a buckle heart charm and a chain of puffy hearts.
Double Bow and Le Cadeau mules
The Double Bow, twin bows outlined in hand-set crystals, is the house signature, and it works well on a mule because the bows sit right on the vamp where the eye goes first. The Double Bow Patent Mules in Black have an open round toe in patent leather on a 95 mm heel. Our Double Bow heels guide covers the line at every height.
For something lower, the Le Cadeau Satin Kitten Heel Mules in Pink sit on a 65 mm heel with a round toe in satin and the Le Cadeau bow at the toe.
Mach & Mach sandals and ankle strap heels
Mach & Mach sandals are the strongest evening choice for long nights. Most of them have an adjustable ankle strap. The black leather Double Bow sandal in the opening paragraph is soft nappa leather with an open round toe on a 95 mm heel and an ankle strap with crystal details. The others:
- Double Bow Satin Sandals in Black: the same shoe in satin, a touch more formal.
- Le Cadeau Gold Brown Round Toe Sandals: brown satin, a 95 mm heel and an adjustable ankle strap, lovely with bronze and gold jewellery.
- Le Cadeau Round Toe Satin Sandals in White: the bridal version.
- Orchid Round Toe Sandals in White: white patent leather on a 95 mm heel with an adjustable ankle strap.
- Floating Pearl Satin Sandals Black and White: satin with pearls stitched by hand, on an 85 mm heel.
- Puffy Heart Patent Sandals in Black: patent leather, a buckle heart charm and an adjustable ankle strap.
- Lotus Flower Patent Sandals in Black: the tallest here at 100 mm, with a handmade crystal chain and crystal zircon jewels.
- Sirene Satin Sandals in White: satin on a 95 mm heel with pearls stitched by hand.
The white sandals in this list, Le Cadeau, Orchid and Sirene, are strong wedding shoes; our Mach & Mach bridal shoes guide covers them in more depth, and how to wear white heels shows how to style them beyond the aisle.
How to wear a heeled mule
A mule changes the line of the leg more than a closed pump, because the open back shows the heel of the foot. A few rules help:
- Show the shoe. Mules look best with cropped trousers, midi skirts and dresses that stop above the ankle.
- Match the mood. A pearl Sirene mule suits a slip dress; a patent Double Bow mule suits sharp tailoring.
- Mind the fit. The vamp should hold the foot firmly without pinching; if your heel lifts as you walk, the mule is too big.
- Keep it polished. The heel of the foot is on display, so keep the skin soft and the varnish fresh.
- Save straps for dancing. If the evening ends on a dance floor, switch to an ankle strap sandal.

Mules and sandals around the world
United States
US women’s sizes are roughly UK plus 2 to 2.5, so EU 38 is about a US 7.5 to 8. Heeled mules are a year-round evening shoe in warmer states, and ankle strap sandals are the usual choice for summer weddings.
United Kingdom
UK sizes run about EU minus 33, so EU 38 is a UK 5. Sandals suit the summer wedding season and evening parties; for Royal Ascot, many guests prefer a closed shoe, so keep mules for the after-party.
The Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar)
Mules are well suited to Gulf weddings and Eid evenings, where shoes often come off and on between rooms. Crystal and pearl styles pair well with embellished gowns and kaftans.
Europe
EU sizing is the native system: Mach & Mach makes most styles in EU 35 to 42 with half sizes. Across southern Europe strappy sandals are the default for summer weddings and late dinners outdoors.
