Womens Suit Sets: 14 Pant Suits for Women in 2026

Womens suit sets are a matching blazer and trouser sold as separate pieces, so you can buy each half in your own size. Coveti’s 2026 edit starts with five new Camilla and Marc suits, Velin, Chase, Ivar, Emika and Phostre, then adds pant suits from The Frankie Shop, ME+EM, Christopher Esber, Toteme and more, with a fit table for each one and the full blazer edit behind it.

If you want the brand story first, our Camilla and Marc suits guide covers the label’s tailoring, and Camilla and Marc blazers looks at the jackets on their own. For a single colour, go to navy suits for women, and for softer, lighter tailoring see cream blazers for women.

What should you look for in a pant suit?

Three things decide whether a suit gets worn: the shoulder, the trouser shape and the cloth. A structured shoulder with pads reads formal and sharp. A relaxed, dropped shoulder reads easier and works over a tee. The trouser shape changes the whole proportion of the look, from a cropped straight leg that shows the shoe to a full wide leg that covers it. Cloth decides the season. Wool and wool blends carry through most of the year, while linen and cotton belong to summer.

Then think about how you will split it. A suit you only wear as a suit is a special occasion piece. A suit whose blazer works over denim and whose trouser works with a knit is a wardrobe.

The Camilla and Marc suits: fit table

All five are designed in Sydney and new to Coveti for Resort and Spring Summer 2026.

Camilla and Marc suits, one by one

Velin: the evening suit

The Velin Blazer in French Navy is the most dramatic jacket in the drop, cut oversized with a satin lapel and woven leather buttons. The Velin Pant in French Navy is a high-lustre satin with a bow leg that swings as you walk. Wear them together at night with a bare neck, and wear the blazer alone over straight denim by day.

Chase: the cream suit

The Chase Blazer in Cream is classic tailoring, with shoulder pads and flap pockets, in a wool with a little stretch. The Chase Wide Leg Pant in Cream has a single pleat and a pressed crease. If you prefer one piece, the Chase Blazer Dress in Cream is the same cloth with a peaked lapel. Cream is not a colour for a wedding guest, unless the couple says otherwise.

Ivar: the check suit

The Ivar Blazer in Navy Chocolate Check is relaxed, with a notched lapel and a centre back vent. The Ivar Pant in Navy Chocolate Check is a mid rise wide leg. The story also includes a strapless double breasted bodice, the Ivar Bodice Top in Navy Chocolate Check, which turns the suit into an evening look without a shirt.

Emika: the office suit

The Emika Blazer in Charcoal has fitted shoulders and a narrow lapel in pure Australian RWS wool. The Emika Pant in Charcoal is cropped, so it shows a loafer, a slingback and an ankle boot equally well. This is the suit to buy if you need one for five days a week.

Phostre: the summer suit

The Phostre Linen Relaxed Blazer in Sand and Phostre Relaxed Pant in Sand are a linen and cotton suit with an elasticated waist, as comfortable as it sounds. It creases, and that is the point. More on that in linen sets for women.

How to size a suit set

Buy the jacket for your shoulders and the trouser for your hips. Camilla and Marc writes “True to size” on almost every piece, and AU sizing reads the same as UK, so an AU 8 is a UK 8 and a US 4. The four wool suits above are cut AU 4 to 14. Coveti lists a UK 4 to 18 ladder, and sizes a brand does not cut show as unavailable. The Camilla and Marc size guide has the full chart, including FR and IT conversions.

My own rule, for what it is worth: if the shoulder fits and the sleeve is slightly long, buy it. A sleeve is an easy alteration. A shoulder is not.

How to wear a pant suit beyond the office

  • Swap the shirt for a halter. A bare-shouldered top under an open blazer, like the Ivar bodice, moves a suit into evening.
  • Split it at the weekend. A suit blazer over jeans and a tee is an outfit you will repeat all year.
  • Change the shoe. A cropped trouser like Emika shows the shoe, so a flat loafer reads relaxed and a pointed slingback reads formal.
  • Go tonal. A cream suit with a cream knit, and a charcoal suit with a grey tee, look expensive without trying.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it OK to wear a pant suit to a wedding?

Yes. A well cut pant suit is a smart wedding guest outfit, as long as the fabric suits the dress code. Choose navy, charcoal, check and colour, and avoid white, ivory and cream unless the couple asks for them.

What is the difference between a suit set and a pant suit?

There is very little. A pant suit is a matching jacket and trouser. A suit set is the retail name for the same thing when the pieces are sold separately, which lets you buy the jacket and the trouser in different sizes.

Can you wear the blazer and trousers of a suit separately?

Yes, and the best suits are bought with that in mind. Wear the blazer over denim and a tee, and the trouser with a fine knit. Relaxed shoulders, like the Velin and Ivar blazers, are the easiest to split.

Does Camilla and Marc run true to size?

Camilla and Marc writes “True to size” on almost every piece. AU sizing reads the same as UK, so an AU 8 is a UK 8 and a US 4. The house model is 180 cm and wears an AU 8.

Which fabric is best for a womens suit?

Wool and wool blends are the most versatile, because they hold a crease and carry through most of the year. Linen and cotton suits, such as Phostre, are best for summer and holidays, where some creasing is part of the look.
