Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2027: The Collection Edit
Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2027 is the house’s new ready-to-wear season under creative director Seán McGirr, and Coveti carries 30 pieces from it. Tree of Life
A branching motif runs through the season. It is printed on the Tree of Life Evening Dress, woven into the Tree of Life Jacquard Mini Dress and embroidered in silver metal thread, glass beads and bullion on the Tree of Life Embroidery Shirt and the Tree of Life Waistband Tailored Trousers.
The moth
The Asymmetric Moth Jacquard Dress carries an engineered moth wing pattern in amber yellow and black jacquard, with one cap sleeve and one short sleeve. Moths are a long-standing McQueen image; the founder released them at the end of his Spring Summer 2001 Voss show.
Heritage lace
Sheer heritage lace is set into compact knits on the Heritage Lace Sleeveless Dress and the Heritage Lace Peplum Top. Read more in our guide to McQueen lace dresses.
Powder blue chiffon
The softest pieces are in powder blue silk: the Bustier Evening Dress in Powder Blue, the Silk Georgette Halter Evening Dress with velvet panels, and the Ruffle Top in Powder Blue, ruffled from neck to hem.
Corsetry and the cape
The Smocked Corset Dress shapes black barathea with smocked panels and mesh seams; the Cut-Out Corset Top bonds silk Mikado to leaf crepe around a cut-out. The Crushed Satin Cape in crushed satin has exaggerated epaulettes, and the Draped Peplum Short-Sleeved Shirt folds poplin over the shoulders in overlays the house calls Manta-inspired.
