The Homard earrings

The Homard is the new piece this week. Each earring is a lobster claw cast in copper with a touch of brass and left with a hammered, uneven surface, so the gold catches light like beaten metal. It hangs from a hinged hoop. The lobster is a Mediterranean reference, the same southern French world that runs through the story of Jacquemus.

The Ciro earrings and bracelet

Ciro takes the round clasp of the Valerie bag and turns it into jewellery. The earrings are textured brass with Rond Carre butterfly backs engraved with the Jacquemus logo, and weigh 21 g each. The bracelet is an open bangle with a disc at each end, glossy brass, engraved with the logo, and weighs 59 g. It is not adjustable, so choose between S-M and M-L by the width of your hand.

How to wear Jacquemus earrings

  • Alone: the Homard is a statement piece. Wear it with hair pulled back and a plain roll neck.
  • With tailoring: the Ciro earrings sit close to the lobe and suit a jacket such as the new Citta Jacket.
  • As a set: the Ciro earrings and bracelet share the same disc motif.
  • With the bag: pair Ciro with a Valerie bag, the shape it comes from.

Caring for brass and copper jewellery

Brass and copper darken with air and moisture. Keep each piece dry, put it on after perfume and creams, and store it in its pouch. A soft dry cloth brings back the shine.
