Marmar Halim Spring/Summer 2027 is 25 floor-length gowns, every one of them new to Coveti this week. The collection went live on marmar-halim.com in September 2026 under the house label “Spring-Summer 27”, and at Coveti the pieces run from $3,550 to $14,510. It is a sharper, more sculpted delivery than the pleated chiffon the house is best known for: almost half the collection is taffeta and crepe, cut close and then released into fishtails, capes and draped folds.

What is new this season

Three ideas run through the collection. The first is structure: the Strapless Draped Corseted Taffeta Dress and the High-Neck Draped Fish-Cut Taffeta Dress use shot maroon taffeta folded into the bodice. The second is the detachable layer. The Off-Shoulder Draped Taffeta Dress With Detachable Over Skirt clips a gathered skirt over a fitted column, and the Strapless Pleated Taffeta Fish-Cut Dress With Cape adds a draped cape on top, so one gown does two jobs. The third is the scarf. Two pieces, the Strapless Pleated Chiffon Dress With Scarf and the Strapless Silk Chiffon Dress With Embroidery, tie a length of chiffon at the neck and let it trail down the back.

The colour story

Red leads. 8 of the 25 gowns are red, from the clean scarlet of the Strapless Taffeta Fish-Cut Dress to the shot burgundy of the Strapless Pleated Silk Dress With Cape in Burgundy. Black is kept to four sculptural pieces, and the softer half of the collection sits in lilac, ivory, butter yellow and champagne. That split suits the calendar the gowns are made for: the reds and blacks for galas and winter-into-spring black tie, the pale chiffons for summer weddings and civil ceremonies. The cloths

Marmar Halim calls its pleated pieces silk on the label, but the brand’s own composition line matters. The One-Shoulder Pleated Silk Dress in Lilac and the Straight-Cut Pleated Silk Dress are 100% polyester plisse, which holds a pleat through travel and steaming. The chiffon pieces, including the Strapless Hand-Pleated Silk Chiffon Dress With Cape and the Asymmetrical Draped Chiffon Dress in Pink, are 100% silk.
