About CHATS by C.Dam
CHATS by C.Dam is the ready-to-wear label of Vietnamese designer Cuong Dam. He graduated from the Hanoi University of Architecture in 2013 and opened CHATS in Hanoi with a group of friends soon after. His fashion house, CDAM, dates its founding to 2014.
The house describes its work as sculpture translated into tailoring. In practice that means long, close-cut dresses with draping that converges at the hip, padded shoulders, attached shawls and polished metal hardware. The collections are produced in Vietnam.
