The Alémais Fall 2026 Edit: The New Western Collection, Reviewed Piece by Piece

The Alémais Fall 2026 collection is a Western season, and the four pieces that arrived at Coveti this week are its formal centre: the Earle Embellished Gown and Earle Embellished Mini Dress in beaded forest-green silk velvet, and the Giddy Embroidered Midi Dress and Giddy Embroidered Shirt in cotton with red rodeo embroidery on cream. What defines the season

Alémais usually builds a season around an artist. Resort 26 was Laurence Leenaert, Pre-Fall was Karlee Mackie. Fall 2026 is built around a place instead, an imagined American West, and the motifs repeat across families: roosters, horseshoes, cacti and lassos in beading and embroidery, a rodeo emblem on the Earle velvet, chevrons and roses on the La Rosa jacquard, a postcard print on the Ace silk. The campaign was shot against hay bales, which tells you the intended register. This is Alémais at its least resort and most autumn, and it is the first season in the current range with a coat in it.

The cloth changed with the theme. Where the summer collections are linen, ramie and silk, Fall 2026 runs to silk velvet, pure wool, wool and recycled polyamide knit, organic cotton poplin and cotton denim. The prices did not move much: the new Earle gown at $1,400 is priced like last season’s Jimi Gown, and the Giddy shirt at $490 sits where an Alémais shirt always sits. The seventeen, by family

1. New this week, the gown: Earle Embellished Gown, $1,400

A fitted, asymmetrical gown in silk velvet with a mock neck, a one-shoulder draped cape overlay, a left-side waist cut-out and a beaded and embroidered rodeo motif on deep forest green. The formal piece of the season, and the one with the most handwork per centimetre.

2. New this week, the velvet mini: Earle Embellished Mini Dress, $890

The same forest-green silk velvet at mini length, cut relaxed, with a round neckline, a low draped back, full bishop sleeves with self-covered button cuffs and beaded Western motifs. The brand suggests the size below if you want a regular line.

3. New this week, the embroidered midi: Giddy Embroidered Midi Dress, $890

A relaxed one-shoulder scarf dress in pure cotton with rodeo-red embroidery of roosters and horseshoes across a cream ground, self-ties, a layered handkerchief-hem skirt and side pockets. Daytime, and the most Western piece in the drop.

4. New this week, the embroidered shirt: Giddy Embroidered Shirt, $490

A long tailored coat in pure wool with notched lapels and an adjustable corset tie at the front bodice with a hook and bar closure. Undyed grey flannel, the most severe thing Alémais has made, and the coat for a winter wedding.

13. The blazer: Emmett Blazer, $790

A tailored double-breasted blazer in a structured cotton blend with notched lapels and padded shoulders, in deep chocolate. Alémais does tailoring rarely, and this is the proof it should do it more often.

14. The bomber: La Rosa Jacquard Bomber Jacket, $690

A relaxed bomber with internal padding, a contrast ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, and balloon sleeves with elasticated cuffs, in a jacquard of chevrons in sage, ochre and brown under pink roses.

15. The denim jacket: Spur Denim Jacket, $490

A cropped acid-wash denim jacket in pure cotton with a point collar and a metal-button placket, washed to a warm sand. With the Spur Denim Cropped Jean it is the only full denim look Alémais currently sells.

What to buy from each family

If you buy one piece, buy the Earle Embellished Gown if you have a black-tie event this winter and the Lasso Patchwork Knit Dress if you do not. The gown is the piece the season will be remembered for, and the knit dress is the one you will wear most. If you buy two, add the Giddy Embroidered Shirt, because it is the cheapest way into the Western handwork and it works over everything else on this page.

The tailoring is the surprise. Alémais does not usually make coats, and the Henri Corset Coat and the Sable Applique Coat are both cut well enough to wear over a plain black dress from another brand, which is not true of most Alémais. The Emmett blazer and pant are a suit if you buy both, and a suit from a print house is a rare thing.

The denim is the value. The Spur jacket and jean together cost less than most single dresses in the range, and they are the only Alémais pieces that belong in a weekend wardrobe rather than an occasion one.
