Bernadette Antwerp Bridal 2026: 23 Pieces for the Wedding Week
Bernadette Antwerp dresses brides who want print and hand embroidery on the day, and the house keeps its own Bridal collection, from ivory moire tops to the new pink-on-cream Rosebranches pair and the embroidered Cape Leo. This guide sets out the Bernadette Antwerp bridal pieces Coveti carries, then matches the wider collection to the three events around a wedding: the civil ceremony, the rehearsal dinner and the bridal shower.
On 8 November 2026 Coveti lists 23 in-stock Bernadette pieces on this page, priced from $340 to $3,530. Six of them sit in the house’s Bridal collection. The rest are chosen by us for the occasion, and we say which is which.
The house, in brief
Bernadette is an Antwerp label founded in 2018 by Charlotte de Geyter with her mother, Bernadette de Geyter. Charlotte is the creative director, trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and draws the house prints by hand. The botanicals return season after season: delphinium, hydrangea, cherries, blackberries and the roses that run through this autumn’s pieces. The clothes are designed in Belgium and produced in Europe and India.
That background explains why a Bernadette bride rarely looks like anyone else at her own wedding. The house works in cream, ivory and pale pink rather than optic white, and it puts its prints and embroidery on bridal clothes instead of stripping them back.
What sits in the house’s Bridal collection
Bernadette files these six pieces in the Bridal collection on its own site. All six are live at Coveti.
- Cape Leo in Ivory Lingerie Rose Embroidery on Ivory, $2,060
- Dress Dette in Rosebranches Pink on Cream, $1,610
- Jacket Elle in Rosebranches Pink on Cream, $1,390
- Top Atticus in Ivory Moire, $1,120
- Top Romi in Ivory, $1,080
- Bowtie Lacquered High Heel Pump in Ivory, $1,560
The Rosebranches pair: Dress Dette and Jacket Elle
Both pieces are new arrivals, both are made in Romania from Italian fabrics, and both carry Rosebranches, the house print, in soft pink on a pale cream ground. The house calls Dress Dette a bridal take on its signature print, made for brides who want a touch of Bernadette on the day.
Dress Dette is a midi bustier dress with a structured neckline, cut in 85% polyester and 15% silk and fully lined. Jacket Elle is fitted and fully lined, in 88% virgin wool with polyamide and elastane, and lined in viscose. Worn together they make a two-piece civil wedding look for $3,000, and the jacket comes off for the lunch afterwards. The house suggests pairing Jacket Elle with a matching Long Skirt Chuck; at Coveti the skirt is in stock in ivory, which keeps the palette pale.
Both run in UK 6 to UK 18 (EU 34 to 46) and fit true to size, so take your usual size. The jacket over the bustier dress gives cover for a town hall, a church and a cold registry office step.
Cape Leo in ivory
Cape Leo is the outer layer for a winter bride. The house describes it as a thick, structured cloth with tonal Lingerie Rose embroidery, hand-worked in India, that drapes softly over the shoulders while keeping you warm. The composition is 100% polyester. It is cut loose in sizes S to L, where a size S matches EU 36 and UK 8. Our full guide to bridal capes compares it with six other houses.
Bernadette for the civil ceremony
A civil wedding asks for a shorter, simpler dress than a church ceremony, and it is often the day the bride wears the house she loves rather than a traditional gown. Bernadette gives three routes. The first is the Rosebranches pair above. The second is separates: Top Atticus in ivory moire, Top Romi in ivory, Long Skirt Chuck in ivory, with the cape on top. The third is a long dress, and Dress Eleonore in its embroidered ivory version, worked in silver delphinium embroidery, is the most formal ivory piece in the current collection.
- Long Skirt Chuck in Ivory, $1,150
- Dress Eleonore Embroidered in Silver Delphinium Embroidery on Ivory, $3,530
- Velvet Slippers in Ivory, $480
The ivory velvet slippers are the change of shoes for the dinner. See our guide to civil wedding dresses for more houses and shapes.
Bernadette for the rehearsal dinner
The rehearsal dinner is the night before, usually smaller and often more relaxed, and the bride is free to wear colour. This is where Bernadette’s prints and fil coupé come into their own. Dress Eleonore in Rapture Rose fil coupé and Long Dress Balthasar in raspberry moire are the evening choices. Dress Roxy carries the hydrangea print in pink on green. Dress Jaxx, a new arrival, is a floor-length cape gown in silk and viscose, hand-embroidered in India with Lingerie Roses in pink and rose on dark lime.
For a bride who loved the Rosebranches pair, the same dress and jacket come in red on black, a deliberate inversion of the wedding-day look. The black Cape Leo goes over any of them.
- Dress Eleonore in Rapture Rose Fil Coupe, $2,720
- Long Dress Balthasar in Raspberry Moire, $2,390
- Dress Roxy in Hydrangea Pink on Green, $2,050
- Dress Jaxx in Pink and Rose Lingerie Rose Embroidery on Dark Lime, $3,530
- Dress Dette in Rosebranches Red on Black, $1,610
- Jacket Elle in Rosebranches Red on Black, $1,390
- Cape Leo in Black Lingerie Rose Embroidery on Black, $2,060

Bernadette for the bridal shower
A bridal shower is daytime and among friends, and pink is the house’s natural register for it. Short Dress Will in icy pink and Midi Dress Madeline in warm pink are the pale options. Dress Elliot carries red bouquet embroidery on cream, and Dress Maya puts red lingerie roses on pink. For a cooler afternoon, Cardigan Karybelle is a new arrival: a fitted V-neck cardigan in dark lime, hand-embroidered in India with lingerie roses in pink and rose.
- Short Dress Will in Icy Pink, $1,150
- Midi Dress Madeline in Warm Pink, $1,680
- Dress Elliot Embroidered in Red Bouquet Embroidery on Cream, $1,680
- Dress Maya in Lingerie Roses Red on Pink, $1,440
- Cardigan Karybelle Embroidered in Pink and Rose Lingerie Rose Embroidery on Dark Lime, $1,280
Shower gifts from the house work well too: the ivory rose-embroidered silk sleeping mask, and a silk peignoir for the morning of the wedding.
- Silk Sleeping Mask in Ivory Rose Embroidery, $340
- Peignoir Silk Crepe de Chine in Cherries Cream, $1,680
Three houses for comparison
If Bernadette’s prints are more than you want on the day, these three ivory and white dresses sit in the same price territory. Cecilie Bahnsen’s Cleopatra Dress is a white midi. Gabriela Hearst’s Aberdeen Dress is cut in ivory silk wool fil coupé, a quieter cousin of Bernadette’s own fil coupé. Saiid Kobeisy’s Brocade Dress in ivory is the most formal of the three.
- Cleopatra Dress in White by Cecilie Bahnsen, $2,650
- Aberdeen Dress in Ivory Silk Wool Fil Coupé by Gabriela Hearst, $7,380
- Brocade Dress in Ivory by Saiid Kobeisy, $3,390

Bernadette bridal around the world
United States. Showers and rehearsal dinners are fixed points of the wedding calendar, so a bride often needs three looks, not one. Courthouse weddings suit the Rosebranches pair, and autumn and winter dates call for the cape.
United Kingdom. Registry office ceremonies favour a short dress with a jacket, and the hen party is the British cousin of the shower. Winter dates in a stone church make Cape Leo practical, not decorative.
Europe. In Belgium, the house’s home, and across much of the continent the legal wedding takes place at the town hall, often separately from a religious ceremony. A Bernadette two-piece suits the civil day, with a long gown kept for the church.
The Gulf (GCC). The wedding season runs through the cooler months, with mild evenings and air-conditioned halls. For modest dressing, Jacket Elle over Dress Dette covers the shoulders, Cape Leo adds cover over a bare gown, and the long Bernadette dresses keep the hem at the floor.
Frequently asked questions
Does Bernadette Antwerp make wedding dresses?
Bernadette keeps a Bridal collection on its own site, and Coveti carries six pieces from it, including Dress Dette and Jacket Elle in Rosebranches Pink on Cream and Cape Leo in ivory. They suit civil ceremonies and pared-back weddings better than a traditional church gown. The house also makes ivory long dresses such as the embroidered Dress Eleonore.
What is a good civil wedding dress from Bernadette?
Dress Dette in Rosebranches Pink on Cream is a fully lined midi bustier dress at $1,610, and the house files it in its Bridal collection. Worn with the matching Jacket Elle at $1,390, it makes a two-piece look with cover for the ceremony. Both are made in Romania from Italian fabrics.
What should a bride wear to her rehearsal dinner?
Wear colour, since the white is saved for the next day. From Bernadette, Dress Eleonore in Rapture Rose fil coupé, Long Dress Balthasar in raspberry moire and the hand-embroidered Dress Jaxx are evening choices. The Rosebranches dress and jacket also come in red on black.
What should a bride wear to a bridal shower?
A daytime dress in a soft colour works best. Bernadette’s Short Dress Will in icy pink, Midi Dress Madeline in warm pink and Dress Elliot with red bouquet embroidery on cream all suit an afternoon event. Add the embroidered Cardigan Karybelle for a cool day.
How does Bernadette sizing work?
The house cuts dresses and jackets in EU 34 to 46, which Coveti lists as UK 6 to UK 18, and says its pieces fit true to size. Knits and capes come in letter sizes, with Cape Leo in S to L. On the house ladder a size S matches EU 36 and UK 8.
Who founded Bernadette?
Bernadette was founded in Antwerp in 2018 by Charlotte de Geyter and her mother, Bernadette de Geyter. Charlotte is the creative director and draws the house prints by hand. She trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
