Oroton Bag Straps and Belts: Lengths, Widths and How to Wear Them
Oroton Bag Straps and Belts: Lengths, Widths and How to Wear Them
A new strap is the cheapest way to change an Oroton bag, and an Oroton belt is the easiest way to finish an outfit. Coveti now carries 20 Oroton bag straps and 22 belts, and every one has its length and width on the product page. Here is how they measure up and how to choose.
Bag straps
Oroton straps fall into three groups. Logo webbing straps are about 4.5 cm wide and adjust to a long crossbody drop, so they turn a top handle bag into a hands free one. Leather straps, such as the Mica Burnished strap, are shorter and dressier. Chain straps are about 45 cm long and work as a short shoulder strap.

Will an Oroton strap fit my bag?
Oroton straps use a standard lobster clasp, so they clip to any bag with D rings, including bags from other brands. Check the opening of the D ring on your bag: the clasps are sized for Oroton hardware and fit most standard rings.
Belts
Oroton belts come in widths from 12 mm to 35 mm, named in the style: the Remi 12mm, the Florence 20mm and 35mm, the Remi 25mm and the Ina 30mm. A narrow belt works through trouser loops and over a shirt dress. A wide belt works over a coat and at the natural waist of a dress.

9. The suede belt: Remi Suede 35mm Belt Tobacco, $470

10. The statement: Cummerbund Wool Belt Black, $500
The Cummerbund Wool Belt in black wool, a deep waist belt with an adjustable buckle and centre back clasp. Wear it over a dress, and over a blazer for evening.
How Oroton belt sizes work
Oroton sizes most belts XS/S, S/M and M/L. On Coveti these are listed as S, M and L, and the product page shows the brand’s own label and the fit range in centimetres. As a guide, the Florence fits 62 to 86 cm at XS/S, 72 to 97 cm at S/M and 82 to 106 cm at M/L. Measure where you will wear the belt, at the waist for a dress and lower for trousers, and choose the size whose range puts you in the middle.
