Autumn Winter 2026 at By Malina moves away from the black and pearl that anchor the continuing collection. The new colours are warm and saturated.

Dark brown is the colour to buy into if you buy into one. It runs across dresses, tailoring, knitwear and trousers, so pieces combine easily.

The evening dresses

Lilou Maxi Dress

The Lilou Maxi Dress in Mango, from $1,570, is the statement of the season. It has a fitted corset bodice with seam detail and a voluminous skirt with a ruffled hem, in a silk blend, and it comes with a detachable skirt. That means one dress for the ceremony and a slimmer one for the dance floor.

Lexie Midi Dress

The Lexie Midi Dress in Black, from $910, has a fitted bodice, a round neck, long sleeves with a slit and a draped balloon skirt at midi length. It is the evening black dress of the season, and the balloon skirt keeps it from feeling like the black dress you already own.

The Milano knit co-ord

The most useful idea of the season is a knit set in pale gold. The Azra Cardigan in Pale Gold, from $740, is a fitted Milano knit cardigan with a round neck, decorative metallic buttons and a subtly flared hem. The Ammie Pants in Pale Gold, from $740, are high waisted straight leg Milano knit trousers with an elastic waistband. Both are viscose with metallic yarn.

Worn together, they are a party outfit. Worn apart, the cardigan goes over a satin slip and the trousers go with a black knit. Both also come in black.

Satin separates

The Smilla Satin Trousers in Teal, from $740, have a high waist, a barrel leg, front pleats and side pockets, in 100% viscose satin. They run small in the waist, so size up if you are between sizes. They also come in dark brown, which matches the Emelia satin blazer.
