Loewe Shoes Guide: Dive Heels, Double L Loafers and Storm Boots
Loewe Shoes Guide: Dive Heels, Double L Loafers and Storm Boots
Loewe boots, loafers and heels share one idea: a shoe moulded to the foot. The Dive bootie and slingback sit on a 45mm heel and a one-piece rubber outsole, the Storm boot is moulded rubber on a 20mm heel, and the Double L loafer is soft calfskin on a 10mm heel. All are made in Italy and EU sized.
The Loewe shoe wardrobe right now
Loewe began in Madrid in 1846 as a cooperative workshop of leather craftsmen, and the house still approaches shoes the way a leather goods maker would, starting with how a skin stretches and recovers. The current line-up on Coveti runs to 16 pairs across seven styles. You can browse the full range on the Loewe brand page, and if you have ever hesitated over the name, our guide on how to pronounce Loewe settles it in a minute.
The Dive: Loewe heels built on a mould
The Dive family is the most distinctive thing Loewe makes for the foot this season. Each style is built from what Loewe calls a complex engineered mould, with a one-piece rubber outsole and a padded ergonomic insole. The heel is 45mm across the line, low enough for a full day. The uppers combine leather with stretch, so the shoe hugs the foot instead of gripping it.
Dive bootie
The Dive Bootie in Stretch Calfskin, Black is the pair to start with if you are shopping for Loewe boots. Loewe describes the fit as glove-like, and the composition explains why: 50% calfskin and 35% lambskin, with 15% thermoplastic polyurethane for give. A rubber-injected LOEWE sits on the back tab and the name is debossed again on the outsole. There is also a stretch suede version in Dark Chestnut, cut from goat suede, which looks warmer with autumn tailoring. Both are $2,950 at Coveti, sized EU 35 to 41. More ankle styles sit in our designer boots edit.
Dive slingback
The slingback takes the same mould and opens up the back with an adjustable calfskin strap that closes with Velcro, with the LOEWE logo injected into the strap itself. The Dive Slingback in Stretch Calfskin, White is the cleanest of the four colourways and the easiest to wear with denim. Stretch suede versions pair black with Deep Saffron and Deep Purple. All are $2,570. These are the Loewe heels to choose when you want height without a stiletto, and the rest of our designer heels are a click away.
Dive mule
The mule swaps leather for shearling with a subtle wavy pattern, and the result is the softest shoe in the edit. The Dive Mule in Shearling, Deep Saffron has a contrasting printed insole and the same 45mm heel, and a black version is also available. At $2,570 it is a slipper with enough polish to leave the house.
The Storm boot
The Storm boot is Loewe’s take on the rubber boot, moulded with an oversized LOEWE logo running up the shaft and a wavy patterned outsole. The heel is 20mm. The Storm Boot in Rubber, Transparent is 100% PVC and shows whatever sock you choose. The Dark Chestnut version adds a gold Lycra lining. Both cost $1,590 at Coveti, which makes the Storm the most accessible way into Loewe boots in this edit. Sizes run EU 36 to 41.
The Double L loafer
The Double L loafer is the quiet one, and the one most people will wear hardest. It is a supple loafer with gathered construction and a rounded toe, and the Double L signature is applied to the upper by high frequency. Inside there is a padded insole and a nappa lining. Underneath is a leather outsole with a rubber island. The heel is 10mm.
The Double L Loafer in Soft Calfskin, Black works five days a week. The suede pairs are where the colour lives: the Double L Loafer in Suede Calfskin, Caramel Latte is the warmest, while Deep Purple and Dark Chocolate are richer and darker. Every colourway is $1,910 and runs from EU 35 to 42, the widest size range of any Loewe shoe here. Compare them with the other designer loafers on Coveti.
Sandals: the Mimi bow and the New Comic
Two sandals complete the picture. The Mimi Bow Sandal in Nappa Lambskin and Shearling, Deep Purple has a tubular shearling bow across the foot, an elasticated strap at the back for comfort and a moulded, padded insole on a 45mm heel. It is $2,390.
The New Comic Sandal in Printed Nappa Lambskin, Multicolour belongs to the LOEWE x Cosima von Bonin collection. It is asymmetric and strappy, with an oval metallic ankle chain carrying a dog charm, and it sits on a 90mm Comic heel, the tallest in the edit. At $2,950 it is the pair for people who buy shoes as objects. The same dog motif turns up on the jewellery, covered in our Loewe bag charms and jewellery guide.
How Loewe shoes are sized
Loewe shoes are EU sized. Coveti lists the EU sizes Loewe makes for each style, so the size menu on each product page is the real range for that shoe, not a generic ladder. Most styles run from EU 35 to 41. The Storm boot starts at EU 36, and the Double L loafer goes up to EU 42.
The loafers are made in half sizes at source, but Coveti shows whole sizes. If you normally take a half size, keep that in mind when you choose from the whole sizes on the product page. As a quick conversion:
- UK 4 = EU 37
- UK 5 = EU 38
- UK 6 = EU 39

How to style Loewe shoes
Loewe shoes look best when the rest of the outfit is calm. Wear the black Dive bootie under a long knit dress so only the curve of the heel shows, then switch to the white slingback with straight-leg denim and a crisp shirt in spring. The Double L loafer suits wide trousers with a hem that breaks on the vamp, and the suede colourways bring warmth to grey and navy tailoring. Put the transparent Storm boot with a coloured sock and a trench. The Mimi bow sandal wants bare legs and a slip skirt. The New Comic sandal deserves a plain black dress so the chain and charm do the talking. For the clothes around them, the Loewe Fall Winter 2026 edit and our knitwear pages are good places to start.
Caring for Loewe shoes
Treat each material on its own terms. Wipe the calfskin Dive styles and the black Double L loafer with a soft dry cloth, and keep shoe trees in the bootie and the loafers between wears. Brush suede gently in one direction once it is completely dry, and keep it away from heavy rain. Shearling on the Dive mule and the Mimi bow needs a light brush and should be kept away from direct heat. The Storm boot only needs a rinse with water and a soft cloth, then a slow dry at room temperature away from radiators. Store every pair in a breathable bag, out of direct sunlight.
