Loewe Fall Winter 2026: The Knitwear and Coats Edit
Loewe’s Fall Winter 2026 knitwear and coats are built on wool, cashmere and shearling, made with specialist makers in Italy, with the nappa lambskin coats made in Spain. At Coveti a Loewe sweater starts at $1,470, cardigans at $2,190 and wool coats at $5,610. The double-face cashmere coat and the zip-up sweater are the pieces to buy first.
This season’s ready-to-wear is grounded and warm, with a strong line in brown, camel, ecru and black, then sudden flashes of olive, red and purple. It is clothing that looks quiet from across the room and reveals itself up close, in a gingham lining, a brushed collar and an embossed Double L on a sleeve. The house is now led by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, creative directors since 2025. Loewe coats and shearling
The coats are the backbone of the season, and most of the wool styles are cut in double-face wool and cashmere, medium-weight and soft to the hand. The Coat in Cashmere, Beige is the one we would buy first. It is 100% cashmere with a relaxed, long cut, a double-breasted front, side slits and a contrasting gingham lining, and it is $9,410 at Coveti. It also comes in Brown, and in black wool and cashmere at $7,510.
For a shorter line, the Peplum Short Coat in Wool and Cashmere, Black has a collarless front that flares into a peplum, at $5,610. It looks sharp over wide trousers and over a slip dress alike. The Cape Coat in Wool and Cashmere, Black, at $5,990, carries a loose cape panel across the back and sides, a detail repeated through the collection. The Hooded Coat in Cashmere, Black, at $9,990, has a detachable oversized sculpted hood.
Shearling is where the season turns tactile. The Cardigan in Shearling, Camel is cut like knitwear with a V-neck and concealed buttons, and it has a hand-applied gradient finish with half-shaved shearling at the front and back. It is $13,390. The Jacket in Shearling in curly merino, at $10,550 in Black and Beige, has a shearling collar with a leather chin strap. Leather fans should look at the Coat in Nappa Lambskin, made in Spain with shearling trim at the sides, at $15,300. See every style in our designer coats edit.
Loewe knitwear: sweaters, cardigans and zip-ups
Loewe knitwear this season is almost all 100% wool, made in Italy, with the interest in the collar. The Hairy Collar Cardigan in Wool, Grey has a brushed hairy yarn collar on an otherwise classic round-neck cardigan, and it is $2,190, also in Black. The same brushed collar appears on the Sweater in Wool, Red, a V-neck at $1,970. The most accessible Loewe sweater in the edit is the Sweater in Wool, Camel, at $1,470, with a LOEWE hand-embroidery at the hem.
The zip-ups are the pieces to watch. The Zip-up Sweater in Wool, Olive Green has an asymmetric zip-up collar with a contrast reverse and a Double L embossed leather patch on the left sleeve, at $2,950. It also comes in White. The Zip-up Sweater in Wool Blend, Ecru, at $3,530, has a textured fur stitch on an oversized collar. Worn under a cashmere coat, either one turns the collar into the focus of the outfit.
The Pointelle Cardigan in Wool, Black, at $2,570, is the finer option, with a scalloped round neck and LOEWE pointelle openwork stitches. Every piece is in our designer knitwear collection.
The LOEWE x Cosima Von Bonin pieces
The collaboration with Cosima Von Bonin brings her artwork into double-face wool jacquard. The Cardigan in Wool, Ecru and Brown is long and relaxed with a V-neck and a LOEWE x Cosima Von Bonin leather patch at the back, at $3,710. The Vest in Wool, Ecru and Brown, at $2,390, matches it. The Sweater in Wool, White and Multicolour, at $2,570, mixes floral and check artwork, and the Zip-up Sweater in Wool, Navy and White, is $3,530. The most dramatic piece is the Bomber Jacket in Shearling, Khaki Green and Multicolour, at $16,260.
Tailoring and trousers
The trousers are fluid and easy to wear. The Draped Trousers in Wool, Black have an asymmetric draped front with a flap at the waist, a wide leg and a relaxed fit, at $2,390, also in Brown. The Gingham Pleat Trousers in Wool, Black, at $2,190, hide contrasting gingham inside an inverted side pleat. For a slimmer line, the Tapered Trousers in Wool, Black, are $1,790, and the Stirrup Trousers in a stretch wool blend are $2,190. The Jacket in Stretch Wool Blend, Black, a slim single-breasted blazer at $4,290, completes the suit with adjustable LOEWE cuff tabs.
Dresses
The Cape Dress in Silk, Black is the dress to know. It is lightweight silk twill with a loose panel attached to the back and sides, knee length with a concealed button front, at $3,710. It also comes in a blue and white check. For colder days, the Dress in Wool Blend, Brown, is a slim, long knit with a textured fur stitch trim at $4,850, and the Dress in Viscose Blend, Dark Brown, with an asymmetric drape and cape panel, is $2,950. Find them all among our designer dresses. A silk square from our Loewe scarf guide finishes the cape dress well.
How Loewe sizes
Loewe ready-to-wear generally runs true to size, and the fit is written on each product: slim, regular, relaxed and small. Read it before choosing, because a relaxed coat is cut with room for knitwear underneath. Coats, tailoring, shirts and woven dresses are made in FR 32 to 44, which is UK 4 to 16. Loewe’s French numbering starts at FR 32, which is UK 4, and FR 44 is UK 16. Knitwear, jersey and leggings come in letter sizes, mostly XS to L. If you are between sizes in a slim style, take the larger.
