Maticevski Pre-Fall 2026: Flame, Rose Gold and Fringe

Where Winter 2026 is cool and textural, Maticevski Pre-Fall 2026 is warm: flame orange and rose-gold metallics cut into strips that move like flames, cream fringe, coral bonded cloth and one extraordinary ribbon gown. The house lists 34 colourways on its Pre-Fall 2026 page, and Coveti has 32 of them in stock, from $1,650 to $12,300. These are the ideas, the pieces and how to wear them.

Key facts

  • At Coveti: 32 Pre-Fall 2026 pieces in stock on 12 October 2026, $1,650 to $12,300.
  • Metallics: flame and rose-pink cloths in silk, polyamide and polyester, used for a gown, a top, a skirt and a dress.
  • Fringe: cream fringe on the Kismet Dress, the Marigold Fringe Dress and the Wistful Gown; metallic fringe on the Firebloom Dress.
  • Bonded coral: the Lash Dress and the Mustang Blouse in berry coral, and the Merit Dress.
  • The ribbon gown: the Fixation Gown, built from hundreds of ribbon strips in coral, blush, brown, blue-grey and white.

Flame and rose gold

The season’s metallic is a cloth of 31% silk, 38% polyamide and 31% polyester, in flame orange and in a rose pink. The Inferno Gown has a deep V-neck and tiers of shimmering ribbon down the front, and it comes in pink too. The Fire Bomb Top is a cropped top with fringe falling like flames, and it sits over the Furnace Skirt, a floor-length A-line with metallic strips from waistband to hem. Both come in rose pink as well: the top and the skirt. The Trailblaze Gown is the semi-sheer version, with a ruffled bodice and a hem that runs short at the front into a train behind.

The fringe

The Kismet Dress is strapless, built from tiers of short cream fringe, fitted at the waist and full at the skirt. The Marigold Fringe Dress and the Wistful Gown use the same cream fringe at different lengths. The Firebloom Dress is the metallic version: a strapless rose-gold midi with a cascade of metallic fringe from the bust and side pockets. Our metallic fringe dresses guide compares these with fringe from other designers.

Bonded coral

The house’s bonded cloth comes in a berry coral this season. The Lash Dress has a draped cowl and a bias-cut hem that drops on one side, and the peach and berry splice changes colour at the side seam. The Mustang Blouse pairs berry coral with a cinnamon reverse at the cowl, and the Rosselli Gown is the floor-length piece in the same colour family.

The Fixation Gown

The Fixation Gown is the piece of the season. It is strapless, fitted through the bodice and hips, and built from thin ribbon strips laid and woven over the body in coral, blush, brown, blue-grey and white, bound in white throughout. From the knee it breaks into a cascading train of loose strips. At $12,300 it is the most expensive Maticevski piece at Coveti, and it is the kind of gown that is remembered.

How to wear Pre-Fall 2026

Let one metallic piece lead and keep the rest plain: the Fire Bomb Top with a black trouser, the Furnace Skirt with a black bodysuit such as the Neva bodysuit. Wear the fringe pieces with a simple sandal so the movement is the point. The black Nightclub pieces from Pre-Fall, the Overview Bodice and the Moontide Skirt, give you an evening look that is less warm.
