About Bogner
Bogner is the Munich ski and luxury sportswear house founded in 1932, when Willy Bogner opened a ski shop on the Schommerstrasse after a year learning the trade in Norway. In 1936 the German team wore a Bogner windbreaker at the Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Bogner has dressed German Olympic skiers ever since. In 1948 Maria Bogner introduced stretch ski trousers with stirrups, a cut so widely copied that ski pants of that shape were simply called Bogners. Their son Willy Bogner Jr. raced for Germany and later filmed ski sequences for several James Bond films. Today the house runs three lines: Bogner, the luxury collection; Bogner Sport, the technical skiwear; and Fire+Ice, the younger line launched in 1989. The B-zip pull and the stirrup trouser are still its signatures.
“The Anouk Leather Blouson is the Bogner piece I would pack first for a week in the Alps.”

How Bogner Compares
Shoppers looking at the Anouk Leather Blouson in Cognac often also consider Mackage, Yves Salomon and Canada Goose. Mackage makes sleek leather and down outerwear from Montreal, Yves Salomon is the Paris fur and shearling house, and Canada Goose is built for extreme cold. Bogner sits between ski and city: a Munich house that brings its technical down, cashmere and stretch fabrics into clothes for town and for the chalet. Explore the full Bogner collection at Coveti.
