About Dice Kayek
Dice Kayek is a Paris fashion house founded in 1992 by the sisters Ece and Ayse Ege. Ece Ege studied at ESMOD in Paris and is the creative director; the first collection was a small run of white poplin shirts, and the shirt is still the centre of the house. The studio and workshops are in Istanbul, and the boutique is on rue Saint-Benoit in Saint-Germain-des-Pres. Dice Kayek was the first fashion house to win the Jameel Prize, awarded by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and its archive pieces sit in museum collections. The look is architectural: rounded shoulders, sculpted peplums, cropped jackets, and embroidery and crystal work applied by hand rather than printed.
