How to Style the Leather Minimal Jacket in Black
Throw it over a slip dress. The contrast is the point.
- St. Agni works in a narrow band of neutrals, so this piece will sit against almost everything already in the wardrobe. One tonal shift is usually enough.
- Proportion is where the house does its work. Balance a wide leg with a fine knit, and a fluid skirt with a defined shoulder.
- With this much restraint in the cut, the cloth is the detail. Keep the accessories quiet and let the 100% Lambskin Leather; Lining: 100% Lyocell do the talking.
- These are pieces designed to move between seasons rather than close out a single one.
Where the Leather Minimal Jacket in Black Fits
- Everyday dressing that holds up from a desk to an early dinner without a change of clothes
- Resort and warm-weather travel. Natural fibres and a light palette handle the heat
- City wardrobes built on repetition, where one piece is expected to restyle many times
- Transitional layering, which is what Coveti customers in London, Sydney, New York, and Dubai reach for it to do

About St. Agni
St. Agni is an independent Australian design studio based in Byron Bay, founded in 2014 by Lara and Matt Fells. The name comes from Lara Fells’ grandmother, Agni. The label began with leather footwear and accessories and grew into full ready-to-wear, keeping the same discipline throughout, and the studio now also works across footwear, bags, eyewear, and objects for the home. Collections work in natural fibres and a narrow neutral palette, cut to favour line over decoration, under a stated philosophy of less is more. The studio marked ten years in 2024 and runs five Australian stores across Byron Bay, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Coveti stocks it for women who are building a wardrobe slowly and expect each piece to earn its place.
Materials and Sourcing
St. Agni publishes its sourcing standards at product level. Across the St. Agni ready-to-wear Coveti carries, every manufacturer has signed the St. Agni Code of Conduct. Wool pieces are certified to the Responsible Wool Standard, leather is sourced through Leather Working Group certified tanneries, recycled polyester carries Global Recycled Standard certification, and viscose is FSC certified. Many cotton styles are OEKO-TEX certified, and a number of factories hold a BSCI social audit. Production sits mainly in China, with further pieces made in India and Vietnam.
“St. Agni is what I recommend when someone says they want fewer, better clothes and actually means it. The cutting is quiet and very precise. The palette barely moves from season to season, which is exactly why the pieces keep working together years later.”
Gemma Deeks, Fashion Editor at Coveti
