About Scanlan Theodore
Scanlan Theodore is an Australian luxury house founded in Melbourne in 1987 by Fiona Scanlan and Gary Theodore, who opened the first boutique on Chapel Street in South Yarra. Gary Theodore is still creative director, and every collection is designed in-house in Melbourne. The house is best known for polished tailoring and its signature Crepe Knit, a viscose and polyamide knit spun from Italian yarn and introduced in 2001. Alongside ready-to-wear it makes bags, shoes and jewellery; the shoes and jewellery carry a Made in Italy label. Read who is Scanlan Theodore and is Scanlan Theodore worth it for the full story.
