CHATS by C.Dam Colours: Every Shade, and Which to Choose

Colour is one of the quieter signatures of CHATS by C.Dam. Almost every style comes in several shades, and the house uses the same palette across dresses and tailoring, so a jacket and a dress bought a season apart will match. At Coveti there are 22 named shades across 156 pieces.

This guide lists every shade, counts the pieces in each, and explains how the colour changes the way a style reads.

Key facts

  • Shades: 22 named colourways at Coveti.
  • Most common: Black (47 pieces), White (24) and Cerulean Blue (16).
  • Signature brights: cerulean blue, chartreuse green and Spanish pink.
  • Deep tones: maroon red, mulberry red, sangria red and reddish brown.
  • Two-tone: black and white versions of the Alcor, Shirley, Sophie, Katherine, Amiri and Elsie.

Black and white

Black is the largest group, and it is the easiest way into the house: the construction shows clearly in black, and the metal details stand out against it. White and ivory white are the evening alternative, and they suit the attached-shawl styles particularly well, as on the Alcor in white. The black and white two-tone versions use a contrast panel to mark the structure.

Cerulean blue and the brights

Cerulean blue is the house bright, a clear sky blue that appears on 16 pieces, from the Elion to the Hayat set. Chartreuse green, a sharp yellow green, runs through the Fall Winter 2026 tailoring. Spanish pink is the softest, a powder pink on the draped jersey dresses.

The deep reds and browns

Maroon red, mulberry red and sangria red are the evening shades for winter, and they read richer than black at night. Mulberry red is almost aubergine, as the Maia blazer shows. Brown, brown moss and reddish brown are the neutrals: brown moss is closer to olive, while brown is a deep chocolate.

How to choose

Choose black for a first piece you will wear often, white for a wedding-adjacent evening where white is welcome, and a bright for a piece that should be remembered. For tailoring, a deep red suit is easier to wear than it sounds, because the cut is so controlled.
