Khaite Jewellery Guide: Lotus, Empire, Santa Fe, Cyclone and More
Khaite jewelry is sculptural costume jewellery, much of it crafted in Italy, made from brass plated in 18-karat gold and palladium, the silver tone, with antiqued finishes on the Santa Fe, Visage and Cyclone pieces. The collection is built around named families that echo Khaite bags and hardware: Lotus, Empire, Santa Fe, Keefe, Leaf, Cyclone and Visage. Khaite earrings start at $750 at Coveti for a Lotus ear cuff, and the pieces are not solid gold, so they need gentle care.
Each family below is broken down by shape, metal and price, with an earrings comparison table, care advice and a FAQ. The full edit sits in women’s designer jewellery and on the Khaite brand page.
What is Khaite jewellery made of?
Almost every piece starts as brass. The gold pieces are plated in 18-karat gold, sometimes polished to a high shine and sometimes hand-brushed and antiqued for the look of a vintage piece. The silver-tone pieces are plated in palladium. One family adds semi-precious stones: Cyclone, set with hand-cut African jade and hand-cut lapis. Many pieces are crafted in Italy, several by lost-wax casting, while the Frankie brooch is crafted in New York from organza.
Because this is plated jewellery, it sits at a very different price from fine jewellery while still carrying careful finishing: logo plaques on the underside of rings and cuffs, laser-engraved logos on earrings and hand-finished edges throughout.
Lotus jewellery
The Lotus pieces translate the scarf-inspired signature form of the Lotus tote into metal, the bag covered in detail in the Khaite Lotus bag guide. The hoop earrings are made by a laminar process with precision milling instead of a conventional mould, which keeps them light.
- Small Lotus Earrings in Gold, $1,100, and in Silver, $1,020.
- Medium Lotus Earrings in Gold, $1,560, and in Silver, $1,410, reimagined hoops for pierced ears.
- Lotus Ear Cuff in Gold, $810, and in Silver, $750. Lost-wax cast with soft rounded corners that grip the ear and an open back for a custom fit. No piercing needed.
- Medium Lotus Pendant in Gold, $2,160, and in Silver, $1,990, on a black leather cord tipped with intrecciato accents. Khaite notes it can also be worn as a belt.
- Small Lotus Pendant in Silver, $1,160, on a fine curb chain.
- Lotus Ring in Gold, $960, moulded as a single piece with an opening for a custom fit.
- Lotus Cuff in Gold, $1,100, and in Silver, $1,020, hammered on the underside and designed to stack.
Empire jewellery
Empire is Khaite’s Art Deco-inspired hardware, the same motif found on the closures of the Blake and Cate bags in the Khaite bag guide. In jewellery it becomes three earring styles, all in 18-karat-gold-plated and palladium-plated brass crafted in Italy.
The Empire Ear Cuffs are $830 in gold and silver, sold as a pair. The Small Empire Earrings use a hinged two-part form that opens and clips on to hug the ear, scaled for stacking and finished with a laser-engraved logo, at $1,100 in gold and $1,020 in silver. The statement piece is the Empire Snake Chain Earrings in Gold, $2,570, with a fringe of snake chains for pierced ears.
Santa Fe jewellery
Santa Fe is the Fall 2026 family. Each piece is etched with lines that trace its organic form, then finished in antiqued 18-karat gold plate and antiqued palladium plate, crafted in Italy. The hoops are hollow tubes, so they stay light, and they close with latch backs.
- Santa Fe Hoop Earrings in Antique Gold and Antique Silver, $1,400.
- Santa Fe Rectangular Earrings in Antique Gold and Antique Silver, $1,250.
- Santa Fe Necklace in Antique Gold, $2,460, and in Antique Silver, $2,280. A torque necklace that wraps the neck as a sculpted collar.
The Santa Fe loop also appears on the Monkey Brooch in Antique Gold, $2,460, a curious monkey inspired by the menagerie of the artists François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne.
Keefe jewellery
Keefe pieces are smoothly rounded and gently elongated, described by Khaite as at once sculptural and organic. The same family name appears on the domed Keefe belt in the Khaite belts guide. The Keefe Earrings in Gold are $1,100 and the silver pair is $1,020, polished to a fine gleam. The Keefe Pendant is lost-wax cast and hangs on a curb chain, $1,550 in gold and $1,460 in silver. The Keefe Bracelet in Antique Gold, $2,130, and the Antique Silver version, $1,990, are open cuffs, hand-brushed for a vintage feel and adjustable for fit.
Leaf jewellery
Leaf is the most delicate family, leaf-shaped forms crafted in Italy of 18-karat-gold-plated brass and finished by hand. The Leaf Earrings in Gold are $1,100. The Leaf Cascading Earrings, $1,550, hang leaves in a gradient of sizes linked by Khaite’s signature staple forms. The Leaf Chain Necklace, $3,630, is built from leaf-shaped links with an integrated hook closure.
Cyclone jewellery and African jade
Cyclone is the most collectable family. Each cast link is composed of three parts with subtle variations, so no two read quite the same. The Cyclone Chain Necklace in Antique Gold with Green is set with five hand-cut, hand-set African jade stones, chosen for their rich green and natural translucence, at $10,100. Without stones, the Cyclone Chain Necklace in Antique Gold is $4,220. The Cyclone Stone Bracelet with Green carries the same African jade at $4,070.
In silver tone, the Cyclone Bracelet in Antique Silver, $2,530, is a cuff of sculpted droplets inspired by natural forms and a vintage perfume bottle. The Cyclone Earrings in Silver with Blue, $2,310, are set with hand-cut lapis in palladium-plated brass, secured by a logo-engraved post.
Visage jewellery
Visage explores the human face. The Visage Earrings in Antique Gold, $1,400, are petite masks that are moulded, cast and finished with flat backs so they rest flush behind the ear. The Visage Bolo Tie, $1,720, slides the same mask onto a black leather cord with custom-cast aglets.
Frankie floral brooch
The Frankie is the softest piece in the collection: a corsage of hand-pressed organza petals crafted in New York, inspired by a recurring motif in the Orson Welles film F for Fake. A polished steel pin with a stopper holds it on heavier fabrics such as coats and tailoring. It comes in Crimson and Orange, $750 each.

How to care for Khaite jewellery
Plated brass rewards a little care. These are general guidelines for plated and stone-set pieces, not instructions from the brand.
- Put jewellery on last. Perfume, hairspray, lotion and sunscreen wear down plating over time.
- Keep it dry. Take pieces off before swimming, bathing and exercise.
- Wipe, do not polish. A soft dry cloth after wear is enough. Avoid polishing cloths and dips on the antiqued Santa Fe, Visage, Keefe bracelet and Cyclone pieces, since they can lift the deliberately aged finish.
- Store pieces apart. A separate pouch for each piece prevents scratches, and it protects the jade and lapis from knocks.
- Open cuffs gently. Adjust the Lotus ring and the Keefe and Lotus cuffs slowly and only a little at a time.
- Keep the Frankie brooch flat and dry. Organza petals crush easily and dislike moisture.
