Khaite Miles Loafer in Dark Honey Alligator

Beyond its boots, Khaite makes slipper-like Jane flats, foldable ballerinas, the Miles loafer, eleven pump families, sandals from flat thongs to heeled slides, and backless mules, most of them crafted in Italy and sized IT/EU 35 to 42. At Coveti, Khaite shoes run from $1,160 for the Archer Flat Sandal to $15,980 for the Miles Loafer in alligator, and the Jane Flat starts at $1,340. The Jane is the one to start with for comfort, while the Liria and Loop are the sandals to know.

Khaite, the New York label Catherine Holstein founded in 2016, uses a small set of signatures across its footwear: snip toes borrowed from boots, square toes that are flat-stitched, cutaways that show the arch, and a gold staple at the vamp, the footbed and the sole. Once those details are familiar, every style is easy to place. This guide covers all the non-boot footwear Coveti stocks. For the boots, see the companion Khaite boots guide.

The Khaite Jane flat

The Jane is Khaite’s slipper-like flat. Khaite builds it with traditional sacchetto construction and pairs it with a flexible, cushioned insole that the brand describes as giving cloud-like comfort. A gold staple sits at the rounded vamp, and the hint of a heel adds stability while protecting the buffed outsole.

Coveti carries eight versions, and the choice comes down to texture:

Ballet flats and the Zoe

The Marlene Ballerina in Pale Yellow ($1,550) is designed to be fully foldable. It is glazed calfskin lined in velvety suede, square-toed and flat-stitched, and the back can be collapsed so it wears as a mule. It also comes in black glazed leather and python-embossed taupe.

The Miriam Ballerina ($1,710) is softer still. Khaite describes it as deliberately malleable, inspired by the folds of fabric, with a deconstructed body lined in cigar-hued suede for a natural fit that moves with the foot. The Zoe Patchwork Flat in Chocolate ($1,840) takes its panels from the Zoe patchwork tote and uses the same sacchetto construction as the Jane.

The Miles loafer

Khaite calls the Miles a menswear classic refined by a feminine touch. It has a rounded toe with a roomier vamp, fine rolled piping, the hint of a stacked heel and a staple at the backstay. Four versions sit at $1,690: black leather, ebano suede, goldenrod suede and the Miles Loafer in Vintage Brown Leather in tumbled two-toned calfskin. The Miles Loafer in Black Alligator is $15,980.

Khaite pumps

Eleven pump families sit in the current line. They are easiest to sort by toe.

Pointed toe

  • Jett D’Orsay: curvy cutaway sides that reveal the arch, with an internal elasticated band at the back. Two heights, the Pump at $1,550 and the Jett D’Orsay Low Pump at $1,410.
  • Bella: a slingback with Empire hardware in 18-karat-gold-plated brass tipping a wrapped wedge heel. Made in two heel heights; the Bella Low Pump is $1,990 and the Bella Pump in Ruby Lizard is $5,250.
  • Colleen: classically structured, with a high vamp and a curved block heel for stability. $1,840.
  • Valerie Low Pump: a sharply pointed toe and a curved heel integrated into the leather sole. $1,560, and $1,990 in golden olive haircalf.
  • Eve: plongé leather worked to look pulled, draped and tied, with a strap that creates negative space. $1,870.
  • Cecilia: exceptionally lightweight, with the sculptural Ona heel and a gold staple at the vamp. $1,550 in black leather, grey suede and sable suede.

Square, round and snip toe

  • Marlene: square-toed and flat-stitched. The Marlene Low Pump ($1,690) folds and collapses at the back like the ballerina; the higher Marlene Pump is $1,870, and $2,280 in red mahogany haircalf.
  • Miriam: the malleable, suede-lined counterpart to the Miriam Ballerina. $1,840, with python at $3,020 and frost ostrich at $3,630.
  • Marcy: a round toe on an angled block heel, with an unreinforced upper Khaite calls almost sock-like. $1,720.
  • Colt: an oxford crossed with a pump, in a snip toe with waxed cotton laces. $1,990 in glazed leather.
  • Mia: a reworked t-strap whose ribbon-like bands loop round the ankle to a gold buckle. $1,550.

Khaite sandals

Khaite sandals divide into four groups, and the Liria covers the most ground.

Liria

The Liria is a softened slide with broad criss-crossed straps that hug the foot and drape over it. The Liria Flat Sandal ($1,190) has a padded, flexible footbed, and the block-heeled Liria Sandal is $1,400. The ankle-strap versions change the shape to ribbon-like bands that circle the ankle and fasten with a gold buckle: the Liria Ankle Strap Flat Sandal is $1,560, the kitten heel and the high-heeled ankle strap are $1,690, and crystal blue ostrich reaches $3,190.

Loop and Sadie

The Loop wraps the foot in ribbon-like bands with a gold-toned ankle buckle. On the Spring 2026 versions an elasticated inset under the buckle lets it slip on. The Loop Kitten Heel Sandal in Lipstick Suede is $1,410, and the higher Loop Sandal is $1,460. The Sadie Kitten Heel Sandal ($1,840) has a pointed toe and graphically interlaced straps on a low, curved heel.

Flat thongs and toe loops

The Archer is a thong sandal designed to stabilise the foot while preventing discomfort between the toes, at $1,250 in black leather and $1,160 with a cotton and linen canvas footbed. The heeled Archer Sandal is $1,410. The Aimee Flat Sandal ($1,250) uses straps and a toe loop on a broader padded base for stability.

Wedges and studs

The Manhattan Sandal ($1,870) is a minimalist wedge with the Manhattan buckle on the strap. The Boden Sandal ($1,990) is cut from a single piece of leather that wraps the foot, studded and fastened with snaps. The full edit sits under designer sandals.

Mules and wedges

The Marlow Mule ($1,840) is a toe-post style on a sculpted wedge heel, with natural instep support and a goatskin lining. The Colt Low Mule takes the snip toe of the Colt boot into a backless, suede-lined heel at $1,560, and $1,930 in rouge noir haircalf. The Colt Wedge ($1,560) and the studded Cloak Wedge ($2,280) are backless forms on a sculpted wedge.

How Khaite shoes are sized

Khaite sizes all footwear in Italian sizes from 35 to 42. Its own guide sets IT 35 as US 5 and UK 2, and IT 42 as US 12 and UK 9, moving one size at a time in between. Khaite makes half sizes; Coveti lists whole EU sizes from 35 to 42. Khaite does not describe any of its shoes as running small. The fit notes in the copy are about construction: the roomier vamp on the Miles, the elasticated band in the Jett, the elasticated insets on the Loop and Aimee. The Khaite size guide has the full conversion table.
