What is the KNWLS Halcyon top?
The Halcyon is the KNWLS top people recognise. It is a long sleeve top in fine, semi-sheer stretch power mesh, printed, and cut with seams that follow the body like performance sportswear. The neck sits high, and the neck and cuffs are finished with a narrow babylock edge. Sheer mesh tops are one of the most searched top shapes, and the Halcyon is the designer version with a real print and real construction.
This season there are two prints. The Halcyon Top in Wallpaper Floral is a soft sage and pink vintage floral. The Halcyon Top in Scarf Print is navy and lilac. Both are 83% polyester and 17% elastane, made in Portugal, and machine washable at 40 degrees. Each has matching leggings: the Halcyon Leggings in Wallpaper Floral and the Halcyon Leggings in Scarf Print.
How to wear a Halcyon top
As a base layer, it goes under a slip dress, a corset, a vest and a jacket. As a set, the top and leggings together make a printed second skin that works with a short skirt over the top. And on its own with low-rise jeans, it is the simplest KNWLS look there is.

The Beth is the dressier of the two. It is cupro, a soft fabric with the drape of silk, cut in panels with the seams left raw, gathered under the bust and tied across the back like a harness. What are the KNWLS jersey tops?
CU Top
The CU is a stretch halter with cap sleeves, an open back and a plunging cowl at the front. Drawstrings at the neck and sleeves let you ruche it to your own shape. It comes in black and light blue, in 83% polyamide and 17% elastane made in the United Kingdom, and matches the CU Skirt.
Ghost Top
The Ghost Top in Grey Marl is a slim scoop neck long sleeve in soft cotton stretch jersey, ruched at the bust, with sportswear seaming and the logo at the hip. It is the KNWLS version of a basic, and it matches the Ghost Shorts in Grey Marl.

For knitwear, the Nora V Neck Jumper in Charcoal Stripe is a cropped wool and alpaca blend V neck, striped in navy and grey, with ribbed panels. It sits at the waist, which suits low-rise skirts.
