Markarian Fall 2026: The 16-Piece Evening Edit
Markarian Fall 2026 is an evening collection of silver and gold brocade, black and gold zebra stripe, scarlet guipure sequins and sapphire beadwork, made in New York City’s Garment District and lined almost entirely in silk. Coveti now carries all 16 Fall 2026 pieces from Markarian, including four matching sets and three new evening gowns.
What defines Markarian Fall 2026?
Alexandra O’Neill founded Markarian in New York in 2017, and the label has always been about occasion dressing with a clear point of view. Fall 2026 keeps the house shapes, the corset midi, the folded off-the-shoulder Clover gown and the Maisie corset top, and puts them into heavier, richer cloth. The headline fabric is a floral brocade that mixes viscose and cotton with metallised polyester, woven in silver and in gold. Around it sit four other stories: a black and gold zebra stripe, a scarlet guipure sequin, black satin with velvet, and an all-over beaded set in sapphire, onyx and ivory tones.
If you are new to the label, our profile Who Is Markarian covers the founder and the New York studio. For the lighter, printed side of the year, the Markarian Pre-Fall 2026 edit is still live, and the two seasons sit well together in one wardrobe. For a full silhouette breakdown, see our guide to Markarian dresses.
The silver and gold brocade pieces
Six of the 16 pieces are cut from the metallic floral brocade. It has body, so it holds a corset line and a full skirt without collapsing, and the sheen is soft rather than mirror bright.
- Clover Silver Gown: the folded off-the-shoulder neckline on a slim column, with a back slit for walking. This is the most formal brocade piece.
- Ginevra Silver Midi Dress: the Markarian corset midi with a flounced ruffle at the hem, a rounded neckline and a low scooped back.
- Maisie Silver Corset Top and Mira Silver Shorts: a round-neck corset top and high-waisted mini shorts that Markarian shows as a set.
- Jasminium Gold Top and Pia Gold Midi Skirt: a fitted peplum top with soft pleats, and a full A-line midi on a contrast black waistband.
The silver pieces lean modern and cool. The gold pair is warmer and a little more traditional, which suits winter weddings and candlelit dinners. For more ways to wear metallics, our silver dresses and gold evening gowns edits sit alongside this collection, and the brocade dresses guide explains how the fabric wears.
Zebra stripe, scarlet guipure and black satin
Three dresses carry the graphic, high-impact side of the season.
Amina Zebra-Striped Midi Dress returns a favourite Markarian shape in a black and gold zebra stripe. The off-the-shoulder corset bodice has a straight neckline, and the fitted skirt ends at the midi with a back slit. It is the piece I would pick for anyone who finds plain black too quiet.
Ravenna Scarlet Halter Dress is clean at the front, with a high halter neck, fitted bodice and A-line skirt. The drama is at the back, where a sculptural bow falls down a scooped opening. The fabric is a scarlet guipure covered in sequins.
Neroli Black Satin and Velvet Gown is the quietest gown of the season. Black satin is cut on the bias on fine straps, and a velvet peplum ruffle sits at the waist. It is an easy answer to a black tie invitation.
The beaded set: Goldie and Aziza
Aziza Beaded Slip Gown is covered from strap to hem in sapphire, onyx and ivory-toned beads and sequins. The silhouette is simple and fitted, so the embellishment carries it. Goldie Beaded Cape Top uses the same beading on a high-neck top with long shoulder trains and an open back. Markarian layers the cape over the gown for a formal entrance, and either half also works on its own: Aziza with a fine sandal, Goldie over a black column skirt.
Sequins on cotton, dupioni and feathers
The softer pieces use sequins in a lighter way.
- Coquette Sequined Cotton Midi Dress: gold and bronze sequin flowers scattered over crisp white cotton, with a keyhole V-neckline and softly ruffled sleeves. The fit is relaxed.
- Savannah Sequined Cotton Wrap Skirt: the same white cotton with gold and bronze sequin florals, in a wrap-effect midi that sits at the waist.
- Lily Sequin Embellished Drape Top and Mirage Sequin Embellished Midi Skirt: black dupioni hand-embellished with gold sequins, as a draped corset top and a fitted column skirt with a back slit.
- Althea Sequin and Feather Mini Dress: pale blue sequins from neck to hem on a long-sleeved mini, with feather trim at the cuffs and hem.
The four Fall 2026 matching sets
Markarian pairs eight of the new pieces into four sets. Each half is sold separately, so you can buy the full look and also wear the pieces apart. Our Markarian matching sets guide goes deeper on splitting them.
