MM6 T-Shirts, Hoodies and Sweatshirts: The Numeric Edit

MM6 T-shirts and hoodies are the simplest way into the line: cotton jersey basics printed with the numeric artwork, a handwritten MM6 signature, archive mannequin prints and trompe l’oeil, with the white stitch line at the back. Coveti stocks the current range in our T-shirts and hoodies and sweatshirts, from the Numeric Cotton T-Shirt in Black to the Numeric Hooded Sweatshirt in Black.

The T-shirts

  • Numeric: the label numbers 0 to 23 printed across the chest, in black and white. See the Numeric Cotton Jersey T-Shirt in White.
  • Handwritten print: a hand-signed MM6 across the front, often on an overdyed jersey, such as the Overdyed Handwritten-Print T-Shirt in White.
  • Flipped print: the artwork printed upside down, as if the T-shirt were worn inside out.
  • Horse and mannequin prints: archive images printed on soft cotton.

The hoodies and sweatshirts

The raw-edge boxy hoodie, in black and white, is cut short and wide with frayed hems, such as the Raw-Edge Boxy Hooded Sweatshirt in Black. The numeric hoodie carries the artwork at the front, and the relaxed hoodie has dropped shoulders and a raw-cut hem. Sweatshirts come with handwritten and mannequin prints, and the double-layer sweatshirt uses a flap to half-hide its print.

How do MM6 T-shirts fit?

MM6 jersey comes in letter sizes from XXS to XXXL, and Coveti lists exactly the sizes MM6 makes. The T-shirts are cut straight and slightly relaxed, the hoodies boxy. MM6 publishes no sizing correction, so take your usual size; size down only if you want a closer fit. MM6 cuts its tailoring and dresses in Italian sizes, which run four above UK, so an IT 42 is a UK 10. Jersey comes in letter sizes, jeans in waist inches and shoes in EU sizes. The full conversion is in our MM6 size guide.

How to wear them

A numeric T-shirt is the base of the MM6 wardrobe: under a blazer, with wide jeans and ballet flats. The cropped hoodies look best with high-waisted trousers and a long coat. For knits in the same spirit, see knitwear and the Handwritten Knit Jumper in Grey Melange.

Care

Wash jersey cold, inside out to protect the print, and dry flat. Overdyed pieces can release colour in the first washes, so wash them separately.
