The Nanonimals

Each Nanonimal is a real, working miniature of the Numéro Un: it opens and closes on a magnetised half-moon insert, and inside, press fasteners hold the folds and can be undone to adjust the shape. They mix textured Italian calfskin with a cotton and alpaca textile (Rodjo uses recycled polyester for his fur). Pamboo is the panda, Pigi is a pig, Rodjo a red panda and Piyu a chick. Clip one to a plain tote and it becomes the talking point.

The Onda phone case

The Onda is woven from strips of leather into a raised wave pattern. Worn around the neck and across the body on its adjustable strap, it holds a large phone and, in the three back slots, your everyday cards, so it can replace a small bag on a walk.

Small, useful, giftable

The AirPods case takes the Numéro Un codes, folds and a half-moon flap, down to earbud size, and closes with an engraved snap. Caring for small leather pieces

Charms and cases get handled more than bags, so they pick up hand oils and scuffs. Wipe them with a dry, soft cloth, keep them away from perfume and hand cream, and do not leave a pale piece in direct sun. The Nanonimals’ alpaca textile can be brushed gently with a soft clothes brush. Polène says its leather needs no cream.

How to wear a charm

Clip it to the strap ring of a structured bag, not the handle of a soft one, so it hangs freely without pulling the leather. One charm per bag. Contrast the colours: Piyu’s yellow on a black Numéro Dix, a camel Writer on a deep blue Cyme.
