Mlouye Flex Bag in Dove
The Flex Bag in Dove is an authentic Mlouye bag in Neutrals. Mlouye is the Istanbul label the industrial designer Meb Seyman founded in 2017, and her training shows in how the bags are built. The Sera Tote, with its maze-like 3D facade, is the house signature; around it sit the origami Flex Bag, the polygon Naomi, the wind-spinner Helix and the doctor-bag Model 12. The bags are made in the house’s own Istanbul facility in Italian leather, and Coveti authenticates every bag before it ships.
The Flex Bag is the house’s origami-inspired shoulder bag. Unclip the strap and it becomes a wrist bag and a clutch; inside there is room for a large phone, a small wallet and a 300 ml water bottle, under a suede two-way zip top. This one is cut from Italian calf leather in dove. Made in Mlouye’s production facility in Istanbul. Wear it on the shoulder by day and shorten the strap for evening.

About Mlouye
Mlouye is an independent accessories label founded in Istanbul in 2017 by the industrial designer Meb Seyman. She studied industrial design at Middle East Technical University and designed furniture before she turned to bags, and the Bauhaus is the house’s stated starting point: familiar shapes are taken apart and rebuilt with new proportions and folded geometry. The bags are made in Mlouye’s own production facility in Istanbul from full-grain leather sourced from Leather Working Group Gold rated tanneries in Italy. In 2019 the house designed a capsule with the British label Whistles.
