Mlouye is the Istanbul label founded in 2017 by the industrial designer Meb Seyman, and its bags are built like objects: the Sera Tote steps its leather panels out into a maze-like relief, the Flex Bag folds three planes into a triangle, and the Naomi twists polygons into a compact shoulder bag. The house
Meb Seyman studied industrial design at Middle East Technical University and designed furniture before she turned to bags. The Bauhaus is the label’s stated starting point: familiar shapes taken apart and rebuilt with new proportions and folded geometry. Leather comes from Leather Working Group Gold rated tanneries in Italy, and production stays in-house in Istanbul. Who is Mlouye tells the full story.
What to buy first

Sizes
Every bag is one size, and Mlouye publishes the width, height and depth of each one on the product page. Most families come in a full size and a mini: the Sera Tote is 30 cm wide and the Mini Sera Tote 19.5 cm; the Flex Bag is 28 cm and the Mini Flex 18.5 cm. How to wear Mlouye
