Rasario Wedding Dresses: The Bridal Line Explained

Rasario is known for corseted evening dresses, but it has made wedding dresses for years, and the bridal line follows the same rules: a sculpted bodice, a clean line, and fabric chosen for how it holds shape. Coveti now carries 12 Rasario wedding dresses, from $2,870 to $9,290, with a median of $3,635. This guide explains the bridal line, compares the dresses, and sets out what to plan for, because every one of them is made to order.

Key facts

  • Rasario wedding dresses at Coveti: 12, priced $2,870 to $9,290 (median $3,635).
  • All are made to order by the Rasario atelier in Moscow, in FR34 to FR46 (UK4 to UK16).
  • Silhouettes: column, corset sheath, A-line and short; strapless and sculpted necklines dominate.
  • Fabrics: stretch crepe (99% polyester, 1% elastane), a silk, acetate and polyester blend, and a silk, cotton and nylon lace on the Lana.
  • The founder: Rasida Lakoba, who started the label in 2012 and draws on the women of her native Abkhazia.

What a Rasario wedding dress looks like

The bridal dresses are evening dresses translated into white. The corset bodice is still there, and so is the long, narrow line through the hip. What is missing is the tulle volume of a traditional gown: most of these dresses are columns and sheaths, with the shape in the cut. That makes them a natural fit for a civil ceremony, a city wedding and a second wedding, and they look as considered at a small dinner as in a church.

“The extraordinary beauty of Abkhazian women serves as the primary reference point and inspiration for our fashion designs,” the house writes of its founder’s childhood in Abkhazia.

Plan for made to order

Every Rasario wedding dress at Coveti is made to order, so count back from the date: allow for the atelier to make the dress, for delivery, and for at least one fitting with your own tailor. Order with your measurements against the brand chart (FR36 is a UK6, with an 84cm chest, 64cm waist and 92cm hips), and choose by the largest measurement, since a column dress is easier to take in than let out. Our Rasario size guide has the full chart. Contact Coveti before ordering if your date is close.

What to wear with it

The plainer columns take a cover-up for the ceremony: see bridal capes and boleros for the Rasario floral capes and boleros, which come from the same atelier. Rasario’s long velvet gloves in white suit the strapless styles for an evening wedding; how to wear opera gloves explains the length.

Sources and method

Checked on 13 October 2026 by Gemma Deeks, fashion editor at Coveti. Garment facts are the brand’s own product-page text; prices are Coveti’s live catalogue on that date and move with stock. Rasario sells much of its range to order, so every product page at Coveti says which sizes are ready to ship and which are made to order. Where a claim could not be checked against the sources below it was left out, and where the fitting room is giving its own advice the page says so.
