What are the best Aje stud earrings?

Studs are the easiest place to start. They are light, they suit almost every neckline, and Aje makes them in a wide spread of sizes.

The smallest is the Valetta Round Logo Stud, a 3 mm round gold stud with a domed push-back and surgical steel posts. It is a second-hole earring as much as a main one. The Monti Stud is a curved 18 mm shape in gold, also offered in silver, and it reads clean and modern with tailoring.

For texture, the Elera Stud has a beaten surface with worn gold finishing and a rippled frill shape, and the Constance Stud uses a scrunched, sculptural construction with a shine finish. The Fey Micro Stud takes the same scrunched idea down to micro size.

The disc studs suit people who prefer silver. The Ira Disc Stud has a hammered finish and a domed back closure, with a smaller Ira Small Disc Stud alongside it. In gold, the Isabeau Small Disc Stud does the same job.

Two-tone studs bridge metals. The Renew Cluster Stud sets gold and silver in one cluster, and the Moonstruck Cluster Stud uses an ornate bead cluster in both tones.

Which Aje earrings have pearls?

Pearl earrings are where Aje’s romantic side shows most. Freshwater pearls appear across the earring range, usually in baroque, naturally irregular shapes.

  • Luneth Stud: 22 mm high and 20 mm wide, 60% pearl and 40% gold-plated brass, with a domed back closure.
  • Luneth Mini Drop Stud: a 4 cm drop with a mini pearl, the softer daytime version.
  • Luneth Large Drop Stud: a 9 cm drop, the longest earring in the range.
  • Spencer Pearl Drop Earrings: 42 mm of sculptural brass ending in a freshwater baroque pearl.
  • Jude Pearl Stud: a curved shape with an engraved logo and a hanging baroque pearl.
  • Amina Pearl Stud: an organic open frame around a baroque pearl, 18 mm high.
  • Theadora Logo Stud: a 22 mm open frame with small pearl detail and an Aje logo.
  • Harlo Flower Earring: a chunky gold flower with a freshwater pearl centre.
  • Ana Small Cluster Stud, Fee Stud, Sierra Stud and Soleil Mini Drop Stud: smaller pearl accents for every day.

Pearl earrings are the obvious choice for weddings, engagements and the races. Our Aje white dresses and bridal guide covers the dresses they suit.

What are the best Aje drop earrings?

Drops add movement, and Aje publishes useful lengths for most of them.

The Elle Drop Earring is 68 mm long with a ball drop motif and weighs 24.4 g per pair, the heaviest weight Aje lists. The Melodia Logo Drop Earring is 50 mm high and 25 mm wide with an Aje logo drop. The Amelia Drop Earring runs 52 mm, combining a hammered gold edge with bronze-tone resin.

For a darker look, the Dusk Resin Drop Stud uses an onyx-tone resin stone, and the Kasia Resin Drop Stud mixes multi-size gold and resin beads, in ivory and in brown. In silver-tone, the Tanis Multi Drop Earrings hang a cluster of shards. The Isabeau Disc Drop Earring hangs a small gold disc on a chain, and the Levels Earring uses a droplet motif on a surgical steel post.

Does Aje make hoop earrings?

Yes, in several sizes and shapes.

  • Romara Small Pearl Hoops: 30 mm, an organic wave design with pearl detailing; a Romara Large Pearl Hoops version is also available.
  • Rogue Small Hoop: 20 mm, 14 g per pair, in gold and silver, with a domed push-back.
  • Immy Hoops: silver-tone huggies with a huggie closure.
  • Viva Pearl Drop Earring: an organic hoop shape with multiple pearl drops, 18 mm high.
  • Briella Half Hoop Earring: a smooth gold half hoop with a freshwater pearl.
  • Zana Micro Earring: a sculptural huggie with a flared base.

What is the Aje ear cuff?

The Giada Thick Ear Cuff is Aje’s ear cuff, a chunky brass band from Resort 2027 that slips around the cartilage without a piercing. It comes in gold and in silver. Wear it with a single small stud on the same ear, the Valetta and the Fey Micro are both good partners, and keep the other ear simple.

Which Aje earrings are best for every day?

For daily wear, choose light studs and small hoops with a domed push-back, since they sit flat under a collar and against a phone. The 3 mm Valetta Round Logo Stud and the Fey Micro Stud are the quietest options. The 18 mm Monti Stud gives a little more shape and comes in gold and silver, so it matches either watch metal. The Rogue Small Hoop, at 20 mm and 14 g per pair, is the everyday hoop, and the Immy Hoops stay close to the lobe.

A practical approach is to build a small set: one pair of gold studs, one pair of small hoops and one pair of pearl studs such as the Luneth. Those three cover work, weekends and most dinners. Save the long drops, the Sascha swirls and the Elle Drop Earring for evenings, when weight and length matter less than impact.

What closures do Aje earrings use?

Most Aje earrings use a domed push-back closure. The dome sits flush behind the lobe and holds the post firmly, which matters on heavier styles like the Elle Drop and Renley earrings. Aje lists surgical steel posts on many styles, including the Zana, Monti, Valetta, Cezanne, Jude, Ray Link and Levels earrings. The Immy Hoops use a huggie closure, and the Giada cuff needs no piercing.

If you have sensitive ears, read the post and material line on each product page before buying. Aje does not describe its earrings as hypoallergenic, so neither do we.

How heavy are Aje earrings?

Weight is the best predictor of comfort for a long evening. These are the weights Aje publishes:

Earring Size Weight
Dusk Resin Stud 11 mm diameter 6.7 g
Rogue Small Hoop 20 mm 14 g per pair
Renley Earring Not listed 20 g per pair
Elle Drop Earring 68 mm long 24.4 g per pair

As a rule, anything above about 10 g per earring is a few-hours piece. For a full day, choose small studs and huggies.

Which Aje earrings suit which neckline?

Aje dresses are cut with strong necklines, so the earring should answer the neck of the dress.

  • Halter necks, such as the Kendall halter pieces in Aje Studio and many mainline styles: choose a drop. The Luneth Large Drop Stud and the Spencer Pearl Drop both fill the space a halter leaves.
  • Strapless and bustier tops: a sculptural stud like the Constance and a choker, never two statement pieces at once.
  • Square and scoop necks: mid-size studs (Monti, Theadora) with a fine chain.
  • High necks and collars: bold earrings and no necklace. The Sascha Swirl Earrings work well here.
  • Bold prints: plain gold, no pearls, so the print leads.
  • Lace and broderie: pearls. They echo the softness of the fabric.

Hair matters too. Drops and hoops show best with hair up and tucked behind the ear; studs carry best with hair down. For complete outfits, see how to style Aje and the Aje formal dresses guide.

How do you look after Aje earrings?

They are fashion earrings in plated brass with pearls and resin, so the rules are simple: keep them dry, put them on after perfume and hairspray, take them off before sleeping, swimming and exercise, and wipe them with a soft dry cloth. Store each pair separately, ideally in a pouch, so posts do not scratch pearls.
