Three textured versions share the shape. The Maxine Suede Belt in Amber Brown is 3 cm wide with 7 adjustable holes and metal belt keepers, the most detail Aje lists on any belt. The Maxine Croc Emboss Belt in Amber Croc is leather embossed with a croc pattern; Aje bans exotic skins, so the croc effect is pressed into leather, not taken from a reptile.

The Whisper Belt is the decorative one: a strand construction with multi-ring and loop details, made in 100% PU (polyurethane) rather than leather. It comes in Black and in Ivory, and is the only Aje belt sized S, M and L. Wear it over a slip dress, a knit and a maxi skirt, where the strands show.

Most Aje belts are sized S/M and M/L. The Maxine S/M is 95 cm in total length and the M/L is 112 cm. Total length means buckle to tip, so the usable waist range is shorter than that figure.

2. Measure around where the belt will sit: the waist for a dress, the hips for low-rise jeans.
