Is the Aje Chesca hat a good sun hat?

Yes. The Chesca has a deep crown and a wide, downturned brim that shades the face, neck and shoulders, which is what a beach hat is for.

It is woven from raffia with a tan leather Aje logo patch on the crown and a leather edge on the brim. Raffia is light and breathes, so it stays comfortable through a long lunch in the sun.
