What is the Aje Maribelle lace collection?

Maribelle is Aje’s Resort 2027 cotton crochet lace family, with a shirt, a pant, a short and two dresses cut from the same lace.

The Maribelle Lace Shirt has a shirt collar and short sleeves and comes in ivory and black. The Maribelle Lace Pant in black has a relaxed, high waisted fit with side seam pockets, and the Maribelle Lace Short in ivory shares that cut in a short length. Because every piece is the same 100% cotton lace, you can buy the black shirt and pant as a matched set, then split them across the week: the shirt over a slip dress, the pant with a plain white tee.

How do you wear lace pants without looking overdressed?

Pair them with something plain and matte, such as a cotton tee, a fine knit tank and flat sandals.

How do you care for cotton crochet lace?

Follow each care label, wash gently in cool water, reshape while damp and dry flat.

Never wring crochet lace: it pulls the stitches out of shape. Turn pieces inside out before washing, keep them away from velcro and hooks, and fold them for storage instead of hanging.
