Costarellos at Coveti
Christos Costarellos was born in Germany and raised in Greece. He trained in fashion design in Greece and took a master’s in theatre costume design at the London College of Fashion before opening his house in Athens in 1998. He still sketches every design and oversees production, which the house runs in-house. Costarellos sells through more than 50 retailers, among them Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Net-A-Porter and Mytheresa, and it has dressed Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Queen Mathilde of Belgium and Princess Rajwa of Jordan. Carrie Johnson wore a Costarellos dress for her wedding in May 2021.
Pre-Fall 2026 and Fall Winter 2026
Pre-Fall 2026 is the “Fall in Bloom” story: floral-cut satin separates, petal lurex satin jackets and skirts, sequin florals and crystal-embroidered tulle gowns such as the Belina and Mellorie. Fall Winter 2026 turns to velvet, silk mikado and mohair, with French lace gowns, feather-trimmed knits and a velvet maxi skirt. The Kalissa guipure lace dress and the Brennie lurex georgette dress return in new colours.
Costarellos sizing
Costarellos uses French sizing. FR 34 is a UK 6, FR 36 is a UK 8 and a US 4, so UK sizes run 28 below FR. Knits come in letter sizes. Most styles fit true to size; the Minari gowns fit slightly small, and the house suggests sizing up between sizes in the Padra trousers, Finna jacket and Tesni bustier.
