Khaite Size Guide: Clothing, Jeans, Shoes and Accessories

Khaite sizes its clothing in US numbers 0 to 12 and in letters XS to XL, its jeans by waist in inches from 23 to 32, and its shoes in Italian sizes 35 to 42. Khaite’s product copy never says a piece runs small. Instead it names the intended shape, so a cardigan described as shrunken, a dress designed for a close fit and a jacket called oversized are cut that way on purpose. Khaite clothing sizes: US numbers to UK

Khaite’s numeric run is US 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. It is used on most jackets, skirts and trousers, on about two thirds of the dresses and on a share of the shirts. Coveti displays these pieces on its UK ladder, using the usual conversion of four sizes up from US to UK.

Khaite’s numeric range stops at US 12. The UK 18 step on Coveti’s ladder therefore has no Khaite equivalent, and the largest Khaite size is UK 16.

Letter sizes

Knitwear, T-shirts and most coats come in XS, S, M, L and XL. Three Scarlet Cardigan colourways add an XXS. A handful of pieces, such as the Bo Top and the Signe Skirt, are cut in paired sizes, XS/S and M/L. Does Khaite run small?

Khaite jeans sizes

Khaite denim is sized by waist in inches, from 23 to 32, and Coveti keeps those inch sizes rather than converting them. Rise and leg vary widely across the fits, so the style matters as much as the number:

• High rise: the Danielle has a stovepipe leg, the Abigail Stretch Jean pairs a high rise with a cropped straight leg, and the Dane Stretch Jean is high-waisted with a flare below the knee.
• Mid rise: the Kerrie Jean is wide-leg with a curved inseam.

Khaite sizes footwear in Italian sizes. Its own size guide sets IT 35 as US 5 and UK 2, and moves one size at a time up to IT 42, which is US 12 and UK 9.

Khaite makes most shoes and boots in half sizes from 35 to 42. The Nevada, Apollo, Davis and Arizona boots start at 35.5.
