Nour Hammour Gloves: Wrislet, Elonge and Elbow, Explained

Nour Hammour makes three glove styles, all designed in Paris to finish its leather and shearling outerwear: the short Wrislet, the extra long Elonge and the Elbow, which stops just above the elbow. This guide covers every version in our designer gloves edit, from the new silk lined Wrislet in grained Vintage Black to cashmere knits in Black and Mink, and how to choose between them.

Key facts

  • Three styles: the short Wrislet, the extra long Elonge and the Elbow
  • Wrislet comes in silk lined leather, cashmere lined suede and cashmere knit
  • Sizes S, M and L, true to size
  • Designed in Paris by a leather house founded in 2013

The Wrislet: the short glove

The Wrislet is a wrist length glove, slim through the fingers with clean tonal seams. It now comes in four constructions, which is why it is the one most people start with.

1. Wrislet Leather Gloves in Vintage Black

Grained leather with a silk lining and a soft gather at the cuff. The most versatile pair in the range.

2. Wrislet Suede Gloves in Chocolate

Chocolate suede lined in cashmere, with a small vent at the wrist. Warm without bulk.

3. Wrislet Cashmere Gloves in Black

Pure cashmere with a ribbed wrist, the everyday knit pair.

4. Wrislet Cashmere Gloves in Mink

The same knit in a cashmere and wool blend in Mink, a soft greige.

5. Wrislet Short Gloves in Black

The original smooth black leather Wrislet.

6. Wrislet Short Gloves in Black Ponyhair

Black ponyhair, for texture against a plain coat.

The Elonge: the extra long glove

Elonge is an opera length knit that can be pulled high over the forearm, then pushed down and ruched towards the wrist. The brown cashmere and wool pair is new this season; the leather version comes in black.

7. Elonge Extra Long Cashmere Gloves in Brown

A 50% cashmere, 50% wool knit in deep brown.

8. Elonge Extra Long Gloves in Black

The leather Elonge in black, for evening.

The Elbow: the long leather glove

9. Elbow Long Gloves in Black

Black leather to just above the elbow, made for cropped and three quarter sleeves.

10. Elbow Long Gloves in Chocolate

The same shape in chocolate.
