Chamonix hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924, and sixty years later Thierry Donard started making apparel for his free-ride skiing and surfing team there. That is the Perfect Moment origin story, according to the company’s own annual report. Since 2010 the label has been owned by Jane and Max Gottschalk, who refocused it on fit, performance and fashion, and the company is now headquartered in New York. The design language stayed Alpine: snow skirts, helmet-compatible hoods and the North Star logo.

Repairs, warranty and delivery in Europe

European customers get the full aftercare package. Perfect Moment runs repairs with United Repair Centre, a B-Corp social enterprise with facilities in Amsterdam and London, and the service covers the UK and EU. The brand aims to return items 7 to 10 days after they arrive. Switzerland is not in the EU, so Swiss skiers should check eligibility with the brand before sending anything.

The 24-month warranty covers defects in material and workmanship on products bought from Perfect Moment and its authorised sellers. Chamonix, France
