Taller Marmo Dress Guide 2026: 14 Styles and Where to Wear
A Taller Marmo dress is Italian-made eveningwear from the label Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea founded in 2013, after meeting at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Expect long columns in crepe cady, fluid fringe, ostrich-feather boa and silk fil coupe woven in Como. Coveti stocks the Fall 2026 dresses and gowns in UK sizes.
The label began in Dubai with kaftans inspired by 1960s and 1970s jet-set style, and it still works between Milan and Dubai. The name joins the Spanish “taller”, a workshop, with the Italian “marmo”, marble. If you already know the house through its kaftans, our Taller Marmo kaftans guide covers that side of the wardrobe. This piece is about the sized pieces: the dresses and gowns, what each one does, and which to choose for the night you have in the diary.
What are Taller Marmo dresses known for?
They are known for clean, long lines finished with one theatrical detail, usually fringe, ostrich-feather boa, sequins and beads, a cape, a shawl, a scarf neck.
The house classic is the Del Rio Dress in Emerald Green, an ankle-length column in crepe cady with long bell sleeves edged in ostrich-feather boa. The body stays plain and the sleeves do the talking. That balance runs through almost everything the label makes.
Fabric is the other signature. Most of the dresses are cut from a viscose-blend crepe cady, a matte, weighty crepe that drapes without clinging. The gowns add double viscose satin, viscose and silk velvet, sequins and tube beads on tulle, and silk fil coupe woven in Como. Every piece is made in Italy.
The label was a finalist for the International Woolmark Prize in 2016. For the full story of the founders, read who is Taller Marmo.
Which Taller Marmo dresses and gowns are in the Fall 2026 collection?
Fall 2026 is a 1920s and silver-screen collection, with Poiret cocoon shapes, flapper low waists, film-noir sequins and Old Hollywood mermaid skirts in midnight blue, black, juniper, emerald, antique bronze and antique gold.
Our Taller Marmo Fall 2026 review walks through the whole drop. These are the dresses and gowns worth knowing by name.
The gowns
Notte Gown. According to the house, Naomi Watts wore the Notte Gown in Black first, in New York. It joins a sleeveless crepe cady bodice to a low-waisted skirt of maxi sequins and tube beads, with a seam of ostrich-feather boa where the two meet.
Hollywood Disco Gown. The Hollywood Disco Gown in Multicolor is the loudest thing the label makes this season: iridescent three-dimensional sequins on tulle, long sleeves, a plunging neck, a flared skirt, and ostrich-feather boa at the neckline and hem.
Butterfly Gown. Cocoon volume through the blouse, then a long mermaid skirt close to the body. The Butterfly Gown in Antique Bronze is cut in double viscose satin with a plunging neck and a soft train. There is a short sister too, the Mini Butterfly Dress.
Musidora Gown. A blouson top over a long mermaid skirt in viscose and silk velvet. The Musidora Gown in Midnight Blue has a discreet boat neck and is the most winter-ready gown of the season.
The two new gowns
Two gowns joined Coveti on 17 October 2026, and both use silk chiffon fil coupe woven in Como.
The 1920 Gown in Antique Bronze is a two-piece look. A flared floor-length slip in double viscose satin sits under a sheer cocoon opera coat in fil coupe with a baroque damask motif, edged in ostrich-feather boa at the front and the wide cuffs. The coat and slip come together. If the coat is the part you love, our guide to opera coats shows how to wear that shape on its own terms.
The 1926 Gown in Juniper is sheer fil coupe with an Art Nouveau motif, a draped cowl neck, a halter tie and an open back. The mermaid line ends in a leaf-shaped train trimmed with fluid fringe. Choose it if you want the back of the dress to be the point.
The long dresses
Grace Cape Dress. A floor-length slip dress under a sheer silk creponne cape, with ostrich-feather boa along the cape hem. The Grace Cape Dress in Midnight Blue gives you a covered shoulder without a wrap to manage.
Astor Dress. Sleeveless, floor-length, gathered at a halter neck, with a wide skirt that moves freely. The Astor Dress in Juniper is the easiest dress here to wear more than once.
Florinda Dress. A relaxed one-shoulder column with a high side slit, an open sleeve finished by a small cuff, and a scarf-like high neck. See the Florinda Dress in Black.
Brooks Dress. A blouson column with a cold-shoulder neckline and an attached satin scarf. The Brooks Dress in Black covers the body and shows only the shoulder.
Berenson Dress. A floor-length stretch crepe cady column with a cold-shoulder line and an oversized shawl at the shoulder, finished with long fringe. The Berenson Dress in Midnight Blue also comes as a short version, the Mini Berenson Dress in Black.
The short dresses
Disco Dragon Dress. A fitted sequin mini with a high neck and oversized kimono sleeves that end in long fluid fringe. The Disco Dragon Dress in Multicolor is made for cocktail hour and the dance floor after it.
Vamp Dress. A sheer silk creponne blouson over a fitted skirt of maxi sequins and tube beads, with a sequined high neck. The Vamp Dress in Black keeps the arms covered and the legs out.

Which Taller Marmo dress should I wear to a black-tie wedding?
Choose a floor-length gown with a covered element: the Notte, the Butterfly, the Grace Cape Dress and the Musidora all work.
Black tie asks for floor length, and a wedding asks you to stay out of white. The Notte Gown in black is a strong, safe answer. The Butterfly Gown in antique bronze gives warmth in photographs without going near ivory. In winter, velvet earns its place, and the Musidora is the one to choose. Our black-tie dress code guide covers the rules, and winter wedding guest dresses has more ideas for colder months.
Which Taller Marmo gown works for a gala?
A gala is the place for the Hollywood Disco Gown, the 1920 Gown and the Berenson Dress, the pieces with real movement.
Gala rooms are big, and these gowns are built to be seen from across one. The sequins and boa on the Hollywood Disco Gown catch every light. The 1920 Gown brings a coat you can keep on for the arrival and the photographs. For more options across other designers, see our edits of gala dresses and black tie gowns.
Which Taller Marmo dress is right for a cocktail party?
For cocktails, go short with the Disco Dragon Dress, the Vamp Dress, the Mini Berenson and the Mini Butterfly.
The Disco Dragon is the most fun to dance in. The Vamp is the most covered on top. The Del Rio also works for a smart cocktail party if you want length without a full gown. For New Year’s Eve ideas beyond this label, read our New Year’s Eve dresses guide.
What should I wear for a resort evening?
On holiday, choose crepe cady columns that pack and move easily: the Astor, the Florinda and the 1926 Gown.
The Astor and Florinda are the most relaxed pieces in the collection, and the brand describes the Astor as working from a summer wedding to a winter dinner. The 1926 Gown, with its open back and fringed train, is for the dinner that calls for something more. For pure ease, a kaftan is still the house answer, and our kaftan guide picks the best.
How does Taller Marmo sizing work?
The brand cuts Italian sizes IT 36 to 48 and says its sized pieces fit true to size, so take your usual size.
Coveti lists the dresses in UK sizes. IT 36 is a UK 4, IT 38 a UK 6, IT 40 a UK 8, IT 42 a UK 10, IT 44 a UK 12, IT 46 a UK 14 and IT 48 a UK 16. US sizes run roughly four below UK, so IT 38 is about a US 2. Models on the brand site are 173 to 180 cm tall and wear an IT 38, which is useful when you are judging a floor-length hem.
Fitted styles such as the Dragon Gown and the Disco Dragon need the most care with size. Relaxed shapes such as the Astor and the Florinda are more forgiving. Our Taller Marmo size guide has the full chart, including the one-size kaftans.
How do I care for a Taller Marmo dress?
Every Taller Marmo dress is professional dry clean only.
Tell the cleaner what the dress is made of before you hand it over, especially for sequins, tube beads, velvet and fil coupe. Keep sequined pieces in a breathable cover so the embroidery is not crushed. Ostrich-feather boa needs space and a gentle hand. Our guide on how to care for feather clothing explains how to keep it full between wears.
Who wears Taller Marmo dresses?
The label has a small, well-documented list of wearers.
According to the house, Naomi Watts wore the Notte Gown first, in New York. Olivia Dean wore a custom Taller Marmo gown on stage in Minneapolis on her The Art of Loving tour. Tamron Hall wore the Gloria fringed crepe kaftan on her talk show. The actress Rossy de Palma has a long association with the label, as Glass Magazine has noted.
