Alanui Finest: The Quiet Cashmere Line Explained
Alanui Finest is the label's line of plain, pared-back essentials in cashmere blends, from the Icon cardigan without a pattern to polos, tank tops, bralettes and a long belted coat. It is Alanui for people who love the shape and the yarn more than the motif, and Coveti carries it in the Alanui collection.
Key facts
- Alanui's plain essentials line, with no jacquard motif
- Cashmere and silk, and cashmere and cotton blends
- Includes cardigans, coats, polos, trousers, bralettes and culottes
- Cardigans keep the Icon fit, fringe and tie belt
Two yarns
Most Finest pieces come in one of two blends. Cashmere and silk, with a little polyester, gives a fluid drape and a soft sheen, used for the Icon cardigans, the polos and the wide trousers. Cashmere and cotton, in a lightweight rib, is used for the T-shirts, tank tops, bralettes and culottes, and it is the more casual of the two. Coats and jackets use richer cashmere and silk.
