La DoubleJ Pants: Palazzo, Hendrix, Club and More

Martin founded in Milan in 2015 cuts its prints into silk twill and jacquard pants that are made in Italy, and a printed pant does something a dress cannot: it carries the pattern the full length of the leg. Palazzo Pants

The Palazzo is the house pant, and the answer if you are looking for printed silk twill wide leg pants. The style runs in both the continuing collection and Autumn Winter 2026. It is cut from silk twill with an elasticated waist, concealed side pockets and a wide leg that moves like a long skirt. The Palazzo Pants in Nucleus Dusty Pink use silk twill from Lake Como with a placed print, 106 cm long. For Autumn Winter 2026 the shape is cut oversized at 110 cm in Alchemy Placee Dark Red and in Kells Swirl Placee Burgundy. The Lacey Palazzo Pants in Chocolate are the winter version, half-lined wool-mix lace with the same elasticated waist and hidden pockets.

Hendrix Pants

The Hendrix is the tailored one. It is high-waisted and fitted around the hips and seat, with a button fly, four pockets and a cropped length with a slight flare. The Hendrix Pants in Derby Lime are a continuing jacquard, and this season adds Hendrix Pants in Devon Brown, a silk-mix jacquard with metallic yarn, plus Botanical Black in a cotton-mix jacquard. Both new colours are 97 cm long.

Club Pants

The Club Pants in Kells Placee Blue Petrol sit between the two: a regular fit in silk twill with an elasticated waist and a 110 cm length. Buttercup Placee Black is the other silk print, and the half-lined Sun Black pair in lurex lace is the one for evening.

Harem Pants and Pleated Pants

Both are cut oversized. The Harem Pants in Moss Green are silk shantung with a high gathered waist and a 107 cm length, and the Coven Pink pair is a printed crepe marocain. The Pleated Pants in Tobacco have front pleats in a fluid wool stretch, with a Bicolor Black version in boucle lurex for evenings.

Loose Pants, Sigaretta Pants and 24/7 Pants

The Loose Pants in Ecru are virgin wool satin with a low waist, a pleated front, belt loops and pockets front and back. The brand notes they run large, so size down if you are between sizes. For a narrower line, the Sigaretta Pants in Animalier Raspberry are a straight cut in jacquard matelasse, and the 24/7 Pants in Diamond Blue Petrol have a cigarette cut. Both are 95 cm.

The Cropped Flare Jean

The Cropped Flare Jean is high-waisted cotton denim with 1% elastane, 103 cm long and made in Italy. It is the only style here sold by waist size in inches, so order your usual denim waist.

Good Butt Shorts

The Good Butt Shorts in Devon Brown share the silk-mix jacquard of the Devon Brown Hendrix. They are fully lined, 41 cm long and sit at the waist. In winter I would wear them with opaque tights and a chunky knit.

Which La DoubleJ pants to buy first

Buy a silk Palazzo first. The elasticated waist makes sizing simple, and the same pair goes from a plain knit at lunch to a silk shirt at dinner. What to wear with La DoubleJ pants

La DoubleJ is a print-on-print house, so the easiest rule is to match the print top and bottom and let it read as one piece.
