Messika Move Collection Guide: Every Move Line Compared
Messika Move is the collection that made the house famous, and at Coveti it covers 271 of the 452 pieces on the Messika brand hub, spread across our fine jewellery categories. The quickest way to understand it is the original Move Classique Necklace in 18K Yellow Gold, Large Model: a gold cage, three diamonds, and a small slide every time you move.
Messika Move is a family of fine jewellery collections built on one idea: diamonds held loosely inside a gold frame so they slide as the wearer moves. Move Classique has three diamonds, Move Uno has one, and lines such as Noa, Romane, Link and So Move change the shape of the frame and the amount of pave.
Where Move came from
Valerie Messika founded her house in Paris in 2005, at 29, after growing up around her father Andre Messika’s diamond business. Move is the design that most clearly carries her view that diamonds should be worn and lived in. The stones are not locked in claws at the top of a ring. They travel along a track, so the light changes as your hand turns.
Messika reads the three brilliant-cut diamonds of Move Classique as yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is a nice story, but the appeal of Move is simpler than that. It feels alive on the body in a way a fixed setting does not.
Move 10th marked ten years of the motif, and the Move family now stretches in almost every direction: one diamond, a whole chain of diamonds, coloured stones, titanium and wedding bands.

Move Classique: the original three diamonds
If you only ever own one piece of Messika, this is the one people recognise. Move Classique comes in three versions. The plain cage shows polished gold around the three stones. The pave version frames the cage with micro-set diamonds. The chiseled version adds texture to the gold.
Size changes the effect a great deal. The Move Classique Necklace in 18K White Gold, Small Model carries 0.15 carats and is around $5,310 at Coveti. It sits neatly at the collarbone and works with an open shirt. The large pave model, the Move Classique Pave Necklace in 18K Pink Gold, Large Model, carries 0.65 carats at around $9,610 and has real presence.
On the wrist, the Move Classique Pave Bracelet in 18K Yellow Gold, Large Model is the version to choose if you want the bracelet at full sparkle. It holds 0.65 carats and is around $8,440 at Coveti.
Move Uno: one diamond, endless ways to wear it
Move Uno strips the idea back to a single moving diamond. It is the biggest line we stock, with 94 pieces, and the most practical for daily wear because the scale is so small.
The range is wide. At the lower end sit the cord bracelets, such as the Move Uno Beige Cord Bracelet in 18K Pink Gold at around $1,300, with a 0.06 carat diamond. In the middle you find fine chain necklaces, studs and single earrings. Toward the top come bangles and the multi-wear ring, which carries 0.95 carats.
Move Uno is also the line to buy if you want to build a set slowly. A necklace, a bracelet and a single earring from Move Uno all share the same frame, so they look related without looking matched.
Move Noa and Move Romane: the daughters’ collections
Both lines are named after, and inspired by, Valerie Messika’s daughters. They are the most graphic of the Move family and the ones to look at if you want a bangle.
Move Noa is round and generous. Its bangles come in wrist sizes from XS to XL, with one half pave model also offered in XXL. The Move Noa Bracelet in 18K Pink Gold, Small Model is around $12,010 at Coveti with 0.11 carats, and the fully paved medium model reaches 2.3 carats at around $32,650, the highest price in our Messika bracelet edit.
Move Romane uses a longer frame and leans heavily on pave. Its rings are a strong choice for a right-hand statement. The Move Romane Half Pave Ring in 18K White Gold, Small Model has 0.30 carats and is around $7,010 at Coveti, and the large pave version goes up to a full carat.
Move Link, So Move and Imperial Move: the statement end
These three lines are where Move stops being discreet.
Move Link turns the cage into a chain. Each link holds its own moving diamond, so the whole piece flickers. The Move Link Choker Necklace in 18K Pink Gold carries 1.70 carats and is around $31,540 at Coveti, the most expensive necklace in our Messika range. Move Link also includes solitaire rings with a single larger stone, from 0.80 to 1.22 carats.
So Move is Messika’s sculptural, assertive version, with pave over bolder forms. It is the only Move line we carry that includes brooches, five in total. The So Move Pave Ring in 18K Pink Gold carries 0.6 carats and is around $9,610.
Imperial Move covers the Move shape completely in fine pave. We have two pieces, a reversible ring and a pair of half pave earrings, both above $10,000.
Lucky Move: Move with colour
Lucky Move was the first time the house put coloured stones into Move. The stones are malachite, turquoise, lapis lazuli, onyx and white mother-of-pearl, set behind the moving diamond so the colour shows through the cage.
Necklaces are the heart of this line at Coveti, with 10 of its 19 pieces. The small models all sit at around $5,650. The Lucky Move Lapis Lazuli Necklace in 18K Yellow Gold, Small Model pairs deep blue stone with yellow gold and 0.16 carats of diamonds. Malachite comes with yellow gold, and turquoise with pink gold.
Move Titanium: the darker side
Move Titanium swaps gold for brushed titanium. There are three finishes: natural, anthracite and black, and the darkest uses DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon), a coating used in aeronautics and Formula 1. After the Uno cords, it is the most affordable way into Move.
The Move Titanium Black Pendant Necklace in Black Titanium is around $2,250 at Coveti with 0.14 carats, and the anthracite ring starts at around $1,680.
Move Joaillerie: wedding bands and minimal rings
Move Joaillerie takes the motif back to its simplest form and includes wedding bands designed for him and her. All 12 pieces we stock are rings. The Move Joaillerie Wedding Band in 18K Pink Gold, Small Model has 0.03 carats and is around $4,380 at Coveti. For more presence, the pave signet ring carries 0.27 carats at around $8,920.
How to choose the right Move line
Start with how often you will wear it. A piece you plan to keep on every day should be light and low, which points to Move Uno and the small Move Classique models. A piece for evenings can be larger and more paved, which points to So Move, Move Link and the pave Noa and Romane designs.
Then think about the story you want. Three diamonds carry the yesterday, today and tomorrow idea, which gives Move Classique an obvious place as an anniversary present. A single diamond is cleaner and easier to layer. Coloured stones bring warmth, and titanium brings a darker, more graphic edge.
Finally, check sizing. Move necklaces and chain bracelets are One Size, but sized bangles and bracelets from Move Noa, Move Romane, So Move and Move Uno are sold in letter wrist sizes from XS upward. Rings use EU circumference sizes from 44 to 74 and fit true to standard sizing. Our Messika bracelet guide explains wrist sizes in detail, and the Messika necklace guide covers pendant sizes and lengths.
How to wear Move together
Move pieces are designed to be worn in groups. Two necklaces work well when one is a Move Uno and the other is a Move Classique, because the different scales stop them competing. On the wrist, a Move Uno cord next to a rigid Move Noa bangle mixes textures nicely. On the hand, a Move Joaillerie band stacked with a Move Uno ring keeps the line low and neat.
You can mix metals freely. The diamonds connect white, yellow and pink gold, and the cages share the same proportions across collections. For more on stacking, see our guide to the wider Messika jewellery collections, which covers Joy, My Twin and Gatsby alongside Move.

What do the three diamonds in Messika Move mean?
