Messika Prices: What Messika Jewellery Costs at Coveti

“How much is Messika?” is the question we hear most about the house, so we ran the numbers on all 452 Messika pieces in stock at Coveti, every one at full price, across our fine jewellery department. The lowest price is $1,300 for the Move Uno Black Cord Bracelet in 18K White Gold. The highest is $32,650. Everything else sits somewhere along that line, and the reasons are surprisingly easy to read once you know where to look.

The short answer: Messika jewellery at Coveti costs from $1,300 to $32,650, with a median of $5,420 across 452 pieces. Rings have a median of $5,580, earrings $4,630, bracelets $5,110 and necklaces $6,120. Price rises with diamond weight, with pave coverage and with the size of the model. Gold colour has no effect at all.

Messika prices by category

Here is the full spread by type of piece. All figures are in US dollars and come straight from our catalogue.

Category Pieces From Median To
Earrings 122 $1,380 $4,630 $22,810
Rings 116 $1,680 $5,580 $26,970
Bracelets 107 $1,300 $5,110 $32,650
Necklaces 102 $2,090 $6,120 $31,540
Brooches 5 $5,800 $5,800 $9,550

Earrings have the lowest median because Messika sells so many of them singly. A Move Uno Single Stud Earring in 18K Pink Gold is around $1,380 at Coveti, and a pair of Move Uno studs is $2,630. Necklaces have the highest median of all. Even a simple pendant comes with its own gold chain, and on Joy pieces small diamonds are set along that chain, a Messika signature.

Bracelets have the widest spread. At one end there are cord bracelets with a single moving diamond for $1,300. At the other is the Move Noa Pave Bracelet in 18K White Gold, Medium Model, with 2.3 carats of diamonds, around $32,650 at Coveti and the most expensive piece we stock. For a closer look at each category, see our guides to Messika rings, Messika earrings and Messika bracelets.

Move 10th 4 $10,190 $12,790 $19,000
Desert Bloom 1 $26,970 $26,970 $26,970

A few patterns stand out. Move Uno is the biggest collection by far, 94 pieces, and its median of $3,440 is why so many people meet Messika through it: one moving diamond, kept small. Move Titanium and Messika Care(s) are the other two low entry points. Move Titanium uses brushed titanium in place of gold, which explains why its Move Titanium Anthracite Ring is around $1,680 at Coveti. Messika Care(s) puts the Move motif on a coloured cord, and part of the profit from each piece goes to the Valerie Messika Foundation.

At the top, Move Link, Move 10th and Imperial Move have the highest medians. Move Link turns the cage into a chain where every link holds a moving diamond, so the stone count climbs fast. Imperial Move covers the Move motif in fine pave. Move 10th marked ten years of Move and is set generously: the Move 10th Earrings carry 1.01 carats.

What drives Messika prices

Carat weight

Diamond weight is the clearest driver, and Messika makes it easy to see because many designs come in small, medium and large models. Fiery, the collection built on Valerie Messika’s favourite pear cut, is a good example. The Fiery Earrings in 18K White Gold, Small Model carry 0.31 carats for around $5,150 at Coveti. The medium model has 0.65 carats and costs $9,790. The large has 0.95 carats at $15,900. Roughly three times the diamond weight, roughly three times the price.

Joy solitaires tell the same story. The Joy Emerald-Cut Solitaire Ring in 18K White Gold, Small Model holds 0.45 carats for around $4,840 at Coveti, and the medium model at 0.75 carats is $7,330.

Pave

Pave, where the gold surface is covered in tiny set diamonds, is the second driver. More surface covered means more stones, so the carat total climbs. Compare two Move Uno rings of the same small size: the plain one is $1,850 with 0.01 carats, and the Move Uno Pave Ring in 18K White Gold, Small Model is around $3,110 at Coveti with 0.15 carats. In Moderniste, the geometric line where polished gold alternates with pave, the plain medium ring is $4,850 and the pave version is $7,800.

Half pave sits in between. The Move Romane Half Pave Ring, Small Model, is $7,010 with 0.30 carats, while the full Move Romane Pave Ring in 18K White Gold, Small Model is around $10,030 at Coveti with 0.65 carats.

Size of the model and amount of gold

Bangles and wide bracelets cost more than chains, even with modest diamond weights, largely because there is more 18 carat gold in them. The So Move Bangle in 18K Pink Gold has just 0.11 carats yet costs around $10,110 at Coveti. So Move is the sculptural, assertive version of Move, and the price reflects the gold as much as the stones.

Coloured stones

Lucky Move was the first Move line with coloured stones: malachite, turquoise, lapis lazuli, onyx and white mother-of-pearl. The stone you pick does not move the price. The small Lucky Move necklace costs $5,650 in each of the five stones we stock it in.

Signature pieces and what they cost

Most people arrive with one piece in mind, so here are the prices of the designs we are asked about most often. The Move Classique Ring, Large Model, with its three moving diamonds that Messika reads as yesterday, today and tomorrow, is $5,110. A Move Classique Necklace in 18K White Gold, Small Model is around $5,310 at Coveti. The My Twin Toi & Moi Ring, Small Model, where a pear-cut diamond faces an emerald-cut diamond without touching, is $6,330.

Joy, the single diamond in a halo of micro-set brilliants, is one of the most affordable signatures: the Joy Brilliant-Cut Bracelet starts at $2,570 and the mini necklace at $4,040. The Skinny Diamond Tennis Bracelet, a flexible tennis line on an invisible system of gold nano-springs, is $9,470 with 0.80 carats. And for a first piece, a Move Uno Pave Bracelet in the mini model is $2,470, which is about as close to the house signature as you can get under $2,500.

One more thing to note: the same design can sit in very different places on the ladder. Move Uno runs from $1,300 to $13,200, Moderniste from $2,950 to $31,060. So the collection name tells you the look, and the model size and pave tell you the price.

Does gold colour change the price?

No. Messika uses 18 carat white, yellow and pink gold, pink gold being its own rose alloy. Of the 147 designs we carry in more than one metal, not one changes price with the colour. The Move Link Pave Ring is $6,440 in all three. That frees you to choose on looks alone; our guide to white gold vs yellow gold vs rose gold walks through skin tone and mixing metals.

What you get at every price

Messika diamonds are typically G colour and VS clarity, stated as G/VS on many pieces, on a $1,300 bracelet and a $30,000 one alike. What changes across the range is the quantity of stone and gold, not the grade. Messika also states that 100% of its pieces go through quality control on ergonomics, aesthetics and integrity.

Here is how the full edit splits by budget:

  • Under $2,500: 31 pieces, mostly cord bracelets, single earrings and mini Move Uno pieces.
  • $2,500 to $5,000: 167 pieces, including 62 earrings and 44 rings.
  • $5,000 to $10,000: 183 pieces, the largest band, with 58 necklaces and 54 rings.
  • Above $10,000: 71 pieces, led by bracelets and statement necklaces.

If you are shopping for someone else, our Messika gift guide picks favourites within each of those bands, and the Messika necklace guide covers chain lengths and pendant sizes in detail.
