About Gianvito Rossi
Gianvito Rossi founded his label in Milan in 2006. He is the son of Sergio Rossi, the shoemaker whose own brand made San Mauro Pascoli in Emilia-Romagna famous, and his shoes are still made there by hand. The house is known for the Gianvito 105 pump, a pointed toe on a 105 mm stiletto, and for the see-through Plexi pump. Footwear News named him Designer of the Year in 2013 and again in 2017.
