The Zimmermann Fall 2026 Edit: Valiant, Ascent and Trailblazer

Zimmermann’s Fall 2026 season arrives in three parts. Valiant is the main event, a wardrobe of lace, drill tailoring and heavy silk. It is darker and more constructed than the label’s summer output. Ascent runs alongside it in a quieter register, built on linen and printed silk. Trailblazer is the newest arrival, and most of its pieces are eveningwear. The dresses

The dressmaking is the strongest part of this season. The Valiant Lingerie Gown has a fitted corset bodice with structured panelling and a heavily pleated skirt, and the Valiant Lingerie Mini Dress is the same idea at cocktail length in cream. Both are couture-adjacent in their construction, and both need very little styling around them.

For print, the Valiant Handkerchief Dress is a silk maxi with a high stand collar and fluted sleeves, cut in the season’s chain motif. The Valiant Bubble Dress takes the same collar and works it into a striped silk midi with a gathered hem. The Valiant Panelled Wrap Dress remains the easiest of the group to wear day to night.

The tailoring and denim

Zimmermann has built a proper tailoring offer in cotton drill this season, and it holds its own against the eveningwear. The Valiant Drill Biker Jacket is cropped, funnel necked and finished with gold hardware and belted cuffs, cut in a deep tobacco brown. The Valiant Drill Jumpsuit is its camel counterpart, a full length utility shape with a removable waist belt.

Denim runs through the season too. The Valiant Denim Jumpsuit and the Valiant Denim Utility Bomber both come in the onyx blue indigo that anchors the Valiant capsule, and the Valiant Draped Denim Flare gives the wash a softer line.

The lace

Lace runs through most of the season, and Zimmermann mostly uses it as an accent on a solid base rather than as the whole garment. That is what keeps it wearable. On the Valiant Lace Blazer it is trim on a double breasted wool body with padded shoulders, and the Valiant Lace Shirt does the same thing with an overlay at the hemline. The Valiant Lace Wrap Pant is the boldest of the three, a mid rise wool trouser with the lace wrapped across one side.

The Valiant Merino Lace Sweater is the easiest entry point, a light merino crew with the lace worked into an embroidered hem. For something sheer, the Valiant Embroidered Blouse is a cream viscose piece with a high stand collar and embroidery throughout, and it comes with its own slip.

The knitwear and the separates

The knitwear is where Ascent and Valiant meet. The Valiant Cable Knit Sweater and the matching Valiant Cable Knit Vest are the season’s most straightforwardly useful pieces, and the Ascent Printed Silk Sweater is the one that carries print into a knit.

How to shop the collection

Zimmermann sizes Fall 2026 in its house numbers, which run 0P through 4. On Coveti these are converted, so a Zimmermann 0 shows as a UK 8 and a Zimmermann 2 shows as a UK 12. Silk is the most common fibre across the season, ahead of viscose, wool and cotton drill, so specialist dry cleaning is the sensible default. The lace pieces in particular want a padded hanger and a light steam rather than an iron.
