Casablanca Size Guide: How Casablanca Fits, From Silk Shirts to Sneakers

Sizing is the question I get most about Casablanca, more than prints and more than price. That makes sense. The house sells a lot of silk, silk does not stretch, and the same label can carry a fitted baby tee and a boxy unisex hoodie in one season. This guide puts the brand’s own chart in one place and adds what I have learnt from handling the pieces.

The Casablanca womenswear size chart

These are Casablanca’s published body measurements for womenswear, in centimetres. They are body sizes, not garment sizes, so measure yourself, not a favourite top.

Does Casablanca run small?

No. On the womenswear block Casablanca runs true to size, and several product pages say so in as many words (“fits true to size, take your regular size”). Where people get caught out is the fit of a particular style, not the ladder itself. The house uses four fits, and the product page names the one each piece is cut in:

• Slim fit: baby tees, tank tops and ribbed jersey. Close to the body by design.
• Regular fit: most knit polos, track jackets and trousers.
• Relaxed fit: silk shirts, silk shorts, kaftans and towelling sets.
• Oversized fit: some hoodies and unisex pieces, deliberately generous.

How Casablanca silk shirts fit

The silk shirt is the piece the house is known for, and it is cut relaxed with a camp collar and a straight hem made to be worn out. Take your usual size for the intended drape. If you want to tuck it into high-waisted trousers without bulk, one size down works on the women’s shirts, because silk twill has no give and a smaller size simply sits closer through the body. Look at the model line on each page: the model on the Pink Radiating Monogram Silk Shirt is 181cm and wears an S, which gives you a real reference for length.

The matching silk shorts, such as the Pink Radiating Monogram Silk Shorts, have an elasticated drawstring waist, so they forgive a size either way. Buy the shirt for your shoulders and the shorts for your hips; the set does not need to be the same letter.

Casablanca t-shirt sizing changed in SS25

This is the single most useful line on the Casablanca site and it is easy to miss. The house re-cut its t-shirts from Spring Summer 2025 and now writes: take your usual size, and if you are a returning client who wants the same fit as before, size down. So an older tee in your wardrobe is not a reliable guide to a new one. The cropped baby tees, like the White Meduse Stacked Logo Cropped Baby T-Shirt, are cut slim and sit above the navel. The ringer tees, such as the White Tennis Club Icon Cropped Ringer Short Sleeve T-Shirt, are closer to a regular fit.

Knitwear and track sets

Knit polos and track jackets follow the chart without surprises. The wool and cotton Café Culture pieces, for example the Navy Café Culture Wool Track Jacket, are a regular fit, and the matching Navy Café Culture Wool Track Pants have an elastic waist. Pointelle and lace stitch knits stretch a little, so if you are between sizes on those, take the smaller one.

Seamless activewear: S/M and L/XL

The seamless leggings, bralettes and shorts come in two dual sizes only, S/M and L/XL. On Coveti we list each letter so you can pick yours, and an S and an M both ship from the S/M run. On the brand chart an S is a UK 8 and an M a UK 10, so the S/M run covers a UK 8 to 10, and the L/XL run a UK 12 to 14. The knit is high stretch.

Swimwear

Casablanca swimwear uses the same letters with a hip measurement added, so check the hip column above before you order a one-piece. The bikini tops and bottoms are sold separately, which helps if you are a different size top and bottom.

Jeans: sized by the inch

The denim, including the Light Wash Graffiti Denim Jeans, is sized by waist in inches (23 to 32), not by letter. The model on that style is 175cm and wears a 28. Take your usual jeans size.

Casablanca sneaker sizing

Casablanca labels its women’s sneakers in UK sizes, with a US size alongside. Coveti shows the EU equivalent: UK 3 is EU 36, UK 4 is EU 37, UK 5 is EU 38 and UK 6 is EU 39. Rings, belts and hats

• Rings come in S, M, L and XL. If you are between sizes, go up: a signet sits better with a little room. See the Casablanca jewellery guide.
• Belts are sized by length in centimetres, 70 to 90. Measure where you wear the belt and choose the nearest length.
• Crochet hats and beanies come in S/M and M/L. S/M suits a head of about 56 to 57cm and M/L about 58 to 59cm. Caps are one size with an adjustable strap.

The unisex exception: collaborations run large

Some collaboration pieces, the Ladurée and Caviar Kaspia capsules among them, are cut on Casablanca’s menswear block, which starts at EU 44 for an XS with an 88cm chest. On that block most women take one size down from their usual letter. Coveti notes it on each product page where it applies.

My rule of thumb

Measure your chest and hips, match them to the chart above, then read the fit word on the product page. Relaxed means take your size and enjoy the drape. Slim means take your size and expect it close. Oversized means you can size down if you want a neater line. And if a piece is unisex, size down.
