How do you layer a fur vest?

Over knitwear. The simplest formula is a fine roll-neck, straight trousers and a vest. Keep the knit slim so the fur sits flat and does not bunch at the armholes. A chunky cable knit works with mink and rabbit; with fox it can look heavy.
