Which Jacquemus hats are available now?

Jacquemus, the French house Simon Porte Jacquemus founded in Paris in 2009 and named for his mother, Valérie, treats a hat the way it treats a bag: one strong shape, a small logo and a material that does the work. The winter range covers a structured cloche, a beret, a baseball cap and two beanies, all in wool. Each style is listed below with its fibre, its fit and its price at Coveti, and the table after that puts them side by side. For the bigger picture on the label, read who Jacquemus is.

Is there a Jacquemus bucket hat?

Jacquemus bucket hat is one of the most searched hat terms for the label, so it is worth being plain: there is no Jacquemus bucket hat in the current Coveti edit. The autumn and winter range is built around wool, and the closest shapes are the Cloche Hat, which has a rounded shape, and the Cavallo Cap, which gives the same casual feel with a peak. New Jacquemus arrivals, including any bucket hat that comes into stock, appear first in our designer hats category, so it is the page to check.

The Jacquemus Cloche Hat

The Cloche Hat is the most considered piece in the range and the most expensive at $720. It is cut from carded merino wool in a rounded shape, and at the back a Rond Carré eyelet, the round and square motif the house also uses on its bags, pinches the wool into a pleat. It is made in Italy and comes in three colours: the Cloche Hat in Black, the Cloche Hat in Beige and the Cloche Hat in Red. The Red is the only colourway offered in a 62 cm size as well as 56, 58 and 60 cm, which helps if you have a larger head.

A cloche sits low on the brow, so wear it with hair down and a collar up. The Black pairs with a long dark coat; the Red brings colour to grey and camel.

The Jacquemus beret and cap: the Cavallo pair

The Cavallo Beret and Cavallo Cap share a fabric, a lining and a factory. Both are 100% virgin wool with a 100% cotton lining, both are made in Bulgaria and both come in Dark Navy and Brown. They also match the Cavallo scarf covered in our Jacquemus scarf guide.

The Cavallo Beret

The Cavallo Beret in Dark Navy and the Cavallo Beret in Brown are the lowest priced hats in the range at $370. The shape is non-adjustable, with a Jacquemus label on the front, so getting the size right matters: it comes in 56, 58 and 60 cm. Tilt it back off the forehead for a soft look, and pull it to one side for something sharper.

The Cavallo Cap

The Cavallo Cap in Brown and the Cavallo Cap in Dark Navy are a wool take on the baseball cap at $410. Unlike the beret, the cap is adjustable, with a cinch buckle at the back, and the Jacquemus label sits on the left side as worn. It is also offered in 56, 58 and 60 cm. A wool cap is warmer than a cotton one, so it reads as a winter piece with a wool coat and a scarf.

The Jacquemus beanie: Gros Grain and Espiral

Both beanies cost $410, are made in Italy and are one size with an adaptable rib knit. The difference is the yarn and the logo.

The Gros Grain Beanie

The Gros Grain Beanie is about half alpaca wool, blended with polyamide and wool, and finished with a contrast folded edge and a tonal grosgrain logo embroidered on the front. Exact blends vary by colour: the Gros Grain Beanie in Beige is 49% alpaca wool, 30% nylon and 21% merino wool; the Gros Grain Beanie in Off-White is 49% alpaca wool, 30% polyamide and 21% wool with a cotton lining; and the Gros Grain Beanie in Black and the Gros Grain Beanie in Dark Grey are 48% alpaca wool, 33% polyamide and 19% wool. Alpaca gives it a soft halo.

The Espiral Beanie

The Espiral Beanie is pure merino and carries a contrasting embroidered “J” on the front. The Espiral Beanie in Red and the Espiral Beanie in Beige are 100% merino wool, and the Espiral Beanie in Dark Brown and the Espiral Beanie in Dark Grey use 100% extra fine merino. Merino is smoother and less fuzzy than alpaca, so the Espiral looks neater under a hood. Browse every style in our designer beanies edit.

How do Jacquemus hats fit?

The Cloche Hat, Cavallo Beret and Cavallo Cap are sized by head circumference, 56 to 60 cm. To find yours, run a soft tape round the head about 1 cm above the eyebrows and ears, where the hat will sit, and keep it level at the back. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one in the beret and cloche, since neither adjusts; the cap has a cinch buckle, so the smaller size can be loosened. The Red Cloche Hat is the only style here offered at 62 cm.

The two beanies are one size with an adaptable rib knit, which stretches to fit most heads. For clothing and shoe sizing across the label, see our Jacquemus size guide.

How to style a Jacquemus hat

  • Match the set. The Cavallo Beret and Cap share their Dark Navy and Brown with the Cavallo family, so a beret and a scarf in one colour look intentional.
  • Keep the brim clear. With the Cloche Hat, choose a collarless coat so the rounded shape and the pleat at the back stay visible.
  • Use colour sparingly. The Red Cloche Hat and the Red Espiral Beanie work best as the one bright note on a neutral outfit.
  • Turn the beanie edge. The Gros Grain Beanie has a contrast folded edge; wear it folded to show the grosgrain logo.

For full outfits, read how to style Jacquemus, and pair the hats with pieces from the Jacquemus coats and jackets guide and the Jacquemus autumn winter 2026 edit. A beanie also makes a simple present, and our Jacquemus gift guide lists more.

How to care for a Jacquemus hat

The care guidance for these hats is to hand wash cool, then dry flat; fold it, never hang it. For the beanies, that is straightforward: wash in cool water with a wool detergent, press the water out in a towel and dry flat in shape. The Black Gros Grain Beanie can also be dry cleaned. For the structured Cloche Hat and the lined beret and cap, spot clean where you can, reshape the crown by hand while damp and let it dry on a rolled towel so it keeps its form. Store hats away from heat and direct light, and brush wool with a soft brush to lift dust.
